The altamaha-ha is a creature said to lurk in the waters of the Altamaha river in Georgia USA. The creature has been seen several times and is said to be up to 30 feet long with a snake like body with flippers.

I first heard about this creature when I was in Charleston, SC ; I caught a program about it on one of the local stations there. I was amazed of a creature close to home that I never heard of before. I visited a few web articles about the creature, but i did not see any with a actual photo. If anyone has more information about this creature please let me know I am very interested in knowing more.
