obvious signs of faking etc (there are extensive
zooms into the detail which would be difficult

The magazine imaged in this post says they are
'dimensional', but I'm not sure yet.

Well the turbulent winds could blow the balloons in differnt directions. Plus they wouldn't have to be silver balloons to be reflective and shiny looking.

But I haven't seen the video, so i'm not saying that's what it is, just that it's one possible explanation.

That is true, but you should watch the video... as turbulent winds could not make the balloons form perfect symmetrical patters. The odds of that happening are probably 1 in 10 trillion

Actually, the article is in Portuguese. But from what I gathered in the article (I'm fluent is Spanish, but it's similar enough to Portugese) the event occured over Mexico City.

The article says that the entire event occured in broad daylight, and started out with a formation of 7 objects, each in spherical form and emitting an intense white light.
One of the objects left the formation, and started manuevering independently of the others. The camera man, Arturo Gil, put the camera down to rest his arm and it was then that the camera picked up an enormous fleet of the objects approaching.
