when I saw a silver sphere standing dead still in the sky for hours I reported it on a ufo/alien website. A few moments later my private phone line
rang and a oriental voice simply spoke my full name and then hung up. That made me think I had been traced. I later found my email address had been
hacked into and the only people I had given it to were the people who make the new accounts at that site. They demand an email address from your ip
provider and won't accept hotmail or any other free email provider.
There was a woman there who reported some ufo's she was seeing and then she said she came back from the store and her daughter was terrified because
she said a black chopper was hovering over the house while her mother was out. So that was too much and the mother stopped reporting her sightings.
The same thing happened with a couple of other people too.

Why would anybody report a UFO?
Do you want to get into trouble?

Huh? For some people, it is their only reason for being on this board. (ATS) To seek out information about Aliens/UFO's.

How's that? Do you mean that the Men in Black will come to "get" them?
From my point of view, the best way to report a UFO/Alien, would be to get as much evidence possible. Try to find corroborating witnesses as well. The
more reliable they are, the better.
If you happen to have a camera with you, take as many pictures as possible.
You will need extraordinary evidence, to back up your extraordinary claim.
2 cents.

Hi everyone,
New here.. first post.. amazing site with tons of information.
If I saw an UFO i would run ~not~ for the phone but anything
that would record it.
We need more documentation of these ufo events.
Hard evidence is what we need now.
In fact we should all be carrying camera's at all time
to capture what seems to have become a more active UFO
time period now. And we need to be scanning our skies more..
Blessings,
Jennifer-x

Back in the 70s I saw a V formation of strange objects in the night sky and after the experience my older brother said to go the phonebox (we didnt
have a home phone then) and ring someone to report it. I was 15 at the time and I dont recall who we called to report it to. It was an organisation
that was in the phonebook. It was also the same organisation that I found out later, often used to run UFO stories in the Daily Mirror back then.
Would any Australians here remember what the name of this organisation was?
I'd like to see if they are still around and also if they still have my report that I told them about over the phone. They also said at the time that
a similiar report was lodged by someone else on the other side of Sydney.
I have no idea if it was followed up or what the result was and would like to find out. thanks in advance.

Funny that. They made it so easy to report such events, obviously giving the impression that they knew about it, and it was definately happening...yet
all the claims got dismissed/debunked anyway.

This is very valid advice. I witnessed a very interesting 'event' from my bedroom window on the night of January 4th. However, all I can do is
give testimony to what I saw. Thus, I have not really spoken of it much. I was afraid to run downstairs to grab a camera because I didn't want to
miss it. Now I wish I had because it lasted roughly 4 minutes. Plenty of time to run down and back up. I tried to shout down to my wife a few times
but only succeeded in waking up my youngest.
I'm more than happy to give a quick description of what I saw but since I have yet to find anyone else having seen it I feel that I must have seen
something that could have been easily identified by others as not a "UFO".
The closest that I can come to exlpaining what I saw is a fairly good sized array of 'twinkling' lights. Not flashing and not only a few. It was
dozens of twinkling lights. Just a few days ago I came across a video on google that was hosted by Jonathon Frakes. I wish I could remember the
title. Anyway, in the beginning of the show there was a video taken of a craft that had reddish sparkling lights. These lights were simply white in
color. The craft moved very slowly just over the horizon (it came in from above, as in, it came into view of my window from the top of my view). It
came to a stop for about 30 seconds and then simply vanished (this was at 11:30ish at night). I figured it landed. However, around 15 seconds later
it came back 'on'. Then started to move in a southwest direction. After about another minute or so it just took off and pretty much winked out of
sight.
Here are some facts that should be taken into consideration. First, I live near McChord AFB and Ft. Lewis. The craft hovered near McChord at first
and then moved off towards Ft. Lewis before taking off. Military craft? I can't say for sure. However, I have 'NEVER' seen anything like this
before and I have watched on many nights the constant air traffic around the base. (I live about 7 miles north of McChord).
Shortly after it left I did notice an increase in air traffic. Primarily of the helicopter variety.
I reported it but have no 'true' validating proof. So, the advice given is very good.

Seriously bad idea, dude... I've tried it before. They send the Federal Investigators/Federal Police/MIB to move in with the "PPA" or they'll use
a thing that looks like a flash light where the guy passes out after they shine it on him (a seizure light)! Whatever you do, don't call 911 folks.
Or, they'll appear instantly in a car with an insignia on it that looks like an eye, and toss folks in.
Definitely bad advice folks. Use a little more common sense when dealing with the aliens and the time travelers and the UFOs and stuff...

UPDATE...
Coming soon, ATS UFO/Alien Reporting Forms! After having a look at what's available for people who have experiences, and more importantly, what's
done with, or in more cases than not, what's NOT done with these reports we have decided to create...
The Official AboveTopSecret.com UFO/Alien Reporting Center.
Now the key words here are we have taken the decision. There will be some significant work involved in making it "ATS quality" so it's going to
take some time to roll out.
We are very interested in what our esteemed Membership has to offer by way of suggested content and details we should be trying to capture. We want as
unobtrusive a form as possible but one capable of getting a "good idea" of what exactly happened, where it happened, when it happened and how it
happened.
Naturally there are many who wish to remain anonymous (man have we learned THAT lately!) after experiencing an event like this so one of the ideas we
are tossing around is separate classification/storage system for the anonymous -vs- "vetted" reports.
I open the floor to any and all suggestions.

Disclaimer: I was under the impression that you were seeking ideas/examples for a reporting form. If I've mistaken that query, I apologize.
Well... I for one thing this is a great idea! My only one question would be would the reports then be forwarded to NUFORC (Peter Davenport) so that it
will be officially entered? And would this only be after it had been analyzed and scrutinized by ATS? (Alright, thats really two questions).
Regardless... Below are a few links to what the other agency offer and ask for reporting. And I'm assuming that by your previous post Springer that
you'll probably narrow down the content. Although it may be advantageous to offer two forms. A "simple form" for those that just wish to report
their sighting with just the basic questions to answer. And a more "detailed form" for those that are more observant and wish to share as much
information as they can. Then both departments are covered and we'd get the chance to receive additional and concise information. Which for a
investigator would be the difference between Burger King and a 5-Star restaurant as far as quality (nothing against the Burger King franchise).
Options could be made available to also be anonymous on both forms (if so desired by the reporter).
There really is so much that I could run rampant with in regards to what I'd like to see in a report, but I believe that several agencies already
have a fair shake and so I submit those forms for your review:
NARCAP (National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena)
Pilots UFO Reporting Form from NARCAP
Air Traffic Controller and Radar Operator Reporting Form
NUFORC: (National UFO Reporting Center)
National UFO Reporting Center UFO Sighting Report Form
MUFON:
MUFON Reporting Form
CUFOS: (the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies)
CUFOS Reporting Form
Other reporting forms (also includes abductions):
UFOWATCH Reporting Form
FUFOR Reporting Form
There are others but these probably fit the bill as to what to look for..
A few things that I always ask when interviewing someone is that if they stretched out their hand what size of object would block out the object (IE:
pencil-lead point. a "BB", a dime, a nickle, a quarter, a half dollar, a ping-pong ball, a baseball, a football, a basketball, etc). The other thing
since many people may not be familiar with degrees/arc, I ask them if they were to turn sideways with their left arm being the second hand of a clock
and the horizon being 9 o'clock, what position (or numerical number) would the UFO be at with 12 o'clock being straight above?
Like I said.. I could run rampant, but I'll be brief..

How wonderful that ATS will now have its own UFO Reporting Center! I'm looking forward to recording again off my balcony that overlooks Lake Erie,
once the weather breaks and when the sky's are clearer. I will be doing this with a new camcorder that I'm now saving up for. Hopefully it will have
some kind of night vision on it.
At any rate, there is a lot of UFO activity going on over the lake and my only hope is that FreezeThought's presentation and subsequent banning from
this forum will not have a negative influence on those reports of sighting by others, like myself, who live by or on the lake who are hoping to
capture some of those UFO's that are flying up there and then showing it here on ATS. Rest assured, they are up there!
Fortunately, my long time companion is the head of a university's aerospace tech. program and of course I will be having him evaluate whatever movies
of what look like UFO's that I capture with my cam flying over the lake before posting anything here. I will also include excruciating detail on all
aspects of those sightings including maps and flight paths and so on should they be seen in the direction of where those airport flight paths are. But
for now I will do my best to focus mainly only in the NE area over the lake and not toward the west.
Looking forward for the new ATS UFO Reporting Center! It's about time that something like this is being set up here where we know that our photo's
and movies will also be shown with our reports. Davenport's site does not include photo's and movies sent in by witness's ... at least the vast
majority of them, at least at this time, but the fact that ATS's center will include that information with those reports will make it THE UFO CENTER
to visit to see what new sightings are being seen out there at any given time.
This is very exciting!
