Thanks for all the fish...

Welcome to the ATS family!

There is lots of information and discussion here on many topics from many points of view. There are members from all walks of life, nationalities and of all ages.

Take some time to look around and familiarize yourself with all of the boards including ATS for alternative and conspiracy related discussion; BTS for lighter subjects and chit chat; PTS for political discussion; and our very own news portal ATSNN.

Each board has several forums with it’s own assigned moderators. Whether your just reading or want to jump right in, we only ask that you follow the site's terms and conditions. This is a privately owned and run board where the rules are enforced.

If you have any questions you can check these handy resources:

Zedd’s Handbook of ATS Links
The Frequently Asked Questions page
And my very own: Answers to FAQs not in the FAQ page

Also very handy is the search feature (on the tab menu just bellow the banner at the top of every page) to make sure you are not double posting something already being discussed.

If you still have questions, don’t hesitate to U2U a moderator anytime. There is always somebody online and you don’t need a minimum of points or posts.

Have fun and see you around the boards!
.

Good ones! I especially liked Gools insight, the "So long and thanks for all the fish".

drogo-undoubetly you are a realist. It would be somthing stupid.

worldwatcher-do you know what it means to be in but not of the world? And I don't mean some lame Christian answer. In fact, don't even answer, just think about it.

parrhesia-bottoms up!

valhall-has no doubts about life.

pieman-is thinking out loud.

atomix-comes across as not being so sure if this is the way to happiness.

anxietydisorder-sees the opportunity to make an exit.

Great stuff!I also realize I may have been a little too harsh on worldwatcher. worldwatcher, if you see this again, what I meant to say is you don't need to answer that. Sometimes I fail to hold the torch of freewill above my head.

The reality is this is the situation we are in from moment to moment. Life is a subjective experience, and the end of the world comes to thousands every day. Once we begin to embrace our mortality then we can live life to its fullest, and not be ruled by inhibitions and prejudices.

Can you be like that? From moment to moment, living life to its fullest potential with no regrets, tackling every new challenge like a blessing? Its a great place to be.
