Please Can We Have Some Smilies SO!!!

Pretty, pretty please can we have some smilies for chat???

Ive asked a lot of people and they all agree that chat would be better with smilies!

Can we have some more avatars in chat aswell?

Just a suggestion.



Edit: Ive just been told that the chat system we use cant do anymore so if this is true just bin this thread!

The use of "real" emoticons, i.e.; : ) , : )-^^^^^; : )>, is one thing. At least emoticons utilized some level of creativity in the effort to express oneself graphically with a limited number of symbology. Smilies are not only trite, juvenile and, esentially, evil. I would hope that ABS/BTS would eliminate smilies altogether
