Italian horses given Viagra boost

I just thought this was so funny, and yet sad in many ways. :shk:

I'm not sure I'd want to watch a bunch of horses on viagra running as fast as they can. And that can't be very comfortable for the horse either. ( if you get my point )

Does viagra affect a horse like it does human males?
If it does, I wouldn't imagine the trade off of a boner for improved cardio-vascular efficiency is worth it. I'd imagine it might be a bit distracting for them?

how can you run wiht a massive boner is my question!?
