Unfortunately, most of the area isn't in high resolution. Without high res there would be no way to located any entrances or smaller markings.
Also, after reading several documents, there seems to be conflicting reports.
It doesn't look like anything conclusive will come from online searches. There would have to be a physical investigation. The conclusion from that
link I just gave says they found no evidence. However, going on another report, there may be entrances 20 miles away (not 2.5). There is something
that matches that previous report. That being, Devil Mountain. It's not due north but it is about 20 miles and it does appear to have a road on top
of the "mesa" that doesn't connect to another road. The roads on Archuleta Mesa all connect to other roads.
The one thing you'll notice about all the reports is a lack of visual evidence. It's hypothesized that the bases are connected by caves. And the
entrances are scattered across the country. So where are the pictures of entrances?
When visual evidence is presented it is evidence of nothing out of the ordinary. If I had the money I would make my own expedition. Unfortunately, I
don't have the resources and I don't live near any alleged cave entrances (since I live almost at sea level).
In conclusion, anyone that says they found an entrance and checked it out, never provide visual evidence. Not even a cave entrance picture. So I
guess we'll just never know for sure. It's just people telling stories without anything to back it up. And that, to me, is just shameful. If we
can't even find a cave entrance why even bother discussing the extraordinary things that are supposed to be going on there?
