I know people do this all the time. When their dear beloved pet/trophy animal passes away, they want to immortalize it by preserving them.

Personally, I say let the dead lie in peace 6ft under.

Well, at least I didn't find one of these preservations in the freezer (I know that's common too).

And don't ask me to sleep in a room where there is one. :shk:

i agree with you totally. I find it disturbing that people want to have there pets immortalized in this way. I was slightly traumatized when i was 14. my father took me visiting on a sunday morning in hector, arkansas. He had an elderly gentleman and wife he used to enjoy talking with so i went along for the ride. When we walked into the house the wife was sitting on a couch. She kept stroking and stroking this small dog. After a bit i realized the thing was stuffed. I guess it had died recently and she wanted to have it around still. Spooky i was scared to go near it and it smelled a little.

I also hate going into bars, restaurants, or homes that have the heads of various animals hung. steven king stuff scary to me.
