No, I don't believe in Native American's as Americans, they are their own thing as long as they want to be, and Tribal laws allow that possibility, aside from them tryng to claim being the "First Americans" no, they are whatever they called themselves before we ever labeled them.

The First Americans are Americans who stayed with America after the Revolution.

I don't really harbor a disdain for Native Americans, but I don't see the point in claiming the only true americans are Native Americans.

And as for "Infrastructure", no you need to learn what builds the Infrastructure, and what continues it.

Skilled labor is worth more than hired hands, and most skilled labor is not the Immigrant population.

Furthermore, the Immigrants of long past, spent much of their lives, if not lost their lives, to connect this nation together, and to build the transport system we today take for granted, Canals, Railways...the likes.

Building a Tower for multi-national corporations is not really along those guidelines.

There is NO justification for such a thing. If this is allowed then everything that has been said by all the anti semites will become truth. You can not pass laws against human nature and love between people. There will never be peace in the middle east (or anywhere else) while there are "laws" enforcing seperation of people.
I just hope this is a piece of misinformation on the part of the anti US/Israel propoganda machine. If not, this is a sad day.

Also, you should differentiate between jews and zionists. People supporting Israel cannot be jews since Israel will only exist after the coming of the Messiah. Who would that have been in the fourties ? Perhaps Adolf Hitler ? An israeli theory says that. It says that Adolf Hitler showed the jews to be strong and belligerent in order to accomplish their god-given role and that jews living in the diaspora therefore merited the Shoah. Why is Israel so out of phase, passing racial laws, destroying schools, airports, houses, killing thousands as an active national policy ? What don't you understand? People from that part of the world actually do love each other, they actually are friends, Jews and Arabs do get along very well. I'll concede that all my viewed experience with the above is with Christian Arabs representing the Arab variable.

On the main issue, this law has to be reviewed annually, i agree that Israel has a right to protect herself, but this law fuels the racial tension, divides families and communities and the new security fence going up at the moment is horrific:

Well, it's all very confusing isn't it? And uniquely so because of the way in which "race", religion and citizenship interwine in Israel. To be a jew is to have the right to citizenship and the definition remains petty much that one should be born of a Jewess.
Whether the law would apply to the offsprin of such a marriage (assuming Mother was the Israeli) would be interesting.
Pragmatically one can see the Israeli's point (and one should never forget that the real weapon of the Arabs there is their much higher birth rate); but Heaven help us or the law at least -when the ends justify the means.
I suspect that the Romantic angle might lead one to just as well say:'Long live Love and to Hell with residence).
It's hardly new: Israel has a good many "racist" laws concerning voting, military service and other matters: and it's usually tempting to draw real or fancied parallels between Israel and Hitler's Reich where "race" is concerned.
On balance it comes down to one's "here and now" attituide towards Israel's government and one's idealistic attitude towards the law.

firstly, why does this surprise anyone? Jews have been believers in their own racial superiority since prehistoric times....its part of their religion, just as it is part of islam to kill all those of other faiths. What I want to know is if Isreal really wants to have peace? It seems to me that they are just trying to tick off Hamas and those other groups so that they break the cease fire, making Isrealis look like innocent victims and the Palestinians look like the evil terrorists. Now I wasn't alive when the Berlin Wall was built but from what I've heard it drew a ton of worldwide attention. Why is the Isreali Wall that they are building not getting anywhere near that amount of attention. To me, this deserves more attention than the Kobe Bryant trial is getting. As far as banning Isreali-Palestnian marriages goes, how about this. Arabs are also trying to kill Americans, would people supporting this racist law feel the same way if foreign arabs were banned from marrying a US citizen? I could see Palestinians marrying Isrealis having to take an oath not to be involved with a terrorist organization, or not allowing a known terrorist to marry into Isreal. But banning all Arabs from marrying Isrealis is pure racism and facism. Nazi Germany passed a similar law before WW2. They are doing the same thing as Germany before the War; build their military, inflame racial tensions, and convince everyone that they're the victims. Just like the years before WW2, this false sense of peace currently existing will fall apart at the last minute convieniently after the 2004 elections and Isreal will use these events to justify it when they conquer all their enemies in the Middle East.

Not every Jew hates Palestinians, and not ever Palestinian hates Jews. I've been there, have you? I saw interaction, friendship, and neighborly behavior in many cases. This is governments and governments. It seems to me that the people who live there understand that (judging from those on both sides I spoke to).
