ATSNN Upgrades

Although i totally agree with the new way ATSNN is ran and the voting system, i think there is still one major flaw!

If an ATSNN submission recieves the required 15 votes to be upgraded, im 99% sure that it doesnt happen instantly, and sometimes by the time it has been upgraded it is old news that everybody is sick of hearing about on the TV and radio etc.....

The new system is fantastic and the voting is too, i just think that when a submission reaches 15 votes it should be upgraded instantly!

I believe that a submission in fact IS upgraded automatically as soon as it reaches +15 votes. I remember when you used to be able to see the vote tally. Back then submissions only needed +10 votes. If the tally was at +9 and you voted yes for it, when you refreshed you'd find that the story had been upgraded.

I think it would be good to have the counter back.

I think the ATSNN is flawed in more ways than one and actually promote bias instead of preventing it. I mean, isn't the simple act of 'voting', bias in itself?
