if we lose the war, Osama gets to kill more non-muslims until all the infidels are annihilated. Islam conquers all. the people around the world just don't realize it that America is standing in Osama's way.

aniways this is an antiwar site so i respect their opinions and they just tryin to show the reasons why we are "losing the war" so we dont have to go to war against the terrorists. after all terrorists have rights.

As this war has been and will ever be nothing but a cover for corporate manifest destiny.
The byproduct effects bring even more profits to table, even though the dangers for the rank & file Americans are numerous & have grown exponetially because of the fake war.

I read most of the article and it mostly makes sense.

I think the proper response to 9/11 would be to just go about our business as usual. That would be the ultimate defeat of OBL and whoever else is with him. That would be the ultimate show of strength.

Sure. However, what are the number of death in the US, annually, due to drunk driving? Look it up on Google, but it's in the tens of thousands. We don't bomb gas stations and liquor store to prevent this from happening.

In case of terrorism:

The money be better spent on intelligence to really understand their capabilities. Routing OBL Afghanistan is only part of the puzzle.

Or, consdier Iraq: if the US spent $1B on intelligence, we could have saved $500B in war costs. Go figure.

Half a trillion dollars and 2,000 additional lost lives later?
Good timing indeed.

It's almost too late now. Domestic spending is being cut due to the unprecedented deficit, from which there is little hope to get out.
