hey guys this is very interesting new development originally made for athletes, the increase their abilities to track fast moving (assault/breaching
ops ect.) objects and increase night vision capabilities (self evident), there is even one that can help Golfers detect changes in grass (camouflage
anybody?). They can add a great advantage to our combat capabilities. The athletes testing this are going nuts over this, and there is some impressive
future looking speculations in the link provided (nanotech enhance lenses).

check this out this might be something to keep an eye out for, Spec-ops and swat teams could benefit the most from this and if they get military
backing who knows where the technology might lead.

I just don't think it's a big deal.
Vision enhancing sunglasses/filters have been on the market for a while. Whether spec ops need to replace those with contact lenses, remains to be
seen -- I figure soldiers usually wear eye protection (aka glasses) quite often anyway.
Imagine trying to replace a contact lense in unsanitary/dusty/hostile conditions. My ex-girlfriend had enough trouble and irritation doing this in the
comfort and privacy of her bathroom, imagine what it would be like on the battlefield.
I vote glasses.

As long as the lenses make their eyes glow red at night to scare the enemy, it'd be cool!
Exgirlfriend? Isn't aelita a girls name?

How do you know it's a girl's name???

yeah those are some of the biggies, but for swat and some Spec ops who are in and out missions this could be very promising. A side note, do they have
anything that improves abilities to track fast moving objects, changes in grass, where they probably do or could adapt this technology to glasses, but
the future applications with Nanotech and such is pretty impressive as they mention in the article, but your right the about the sanitary issues, but
if they don’t already have this, adapting this to more resilient to combat conditions and environment and it could be very helpful.

its better if they make goggles design for enhance night, infrared and better resolution. also for protection again 9 mm and fragmentation.

The same way I know Betty is a girls name, because I've only ever heard girls have it. I guess I could be wrong tho.

Pray tell, where did you see or hear about a girl with such name?
I thought it was quite unique and ultra rare. I venture to say there are no girls on this planet who bear such name. The only one I heard of lived on
Mars.

I begining to see the general has some merit about the mixing of the sexes on ats, long live the >CAUSE<. Hail genara!
(inside joke if you dont get it )
