Dukes of Hazzard - Bad Casting or what???

Having just read the cast of this flick (upcoming remake), I'm less than disappointed....

About the only winners are Burt Reynolds and Willie Nelson, who'll both be pretty good I'd bet...and of course, seeing Jessica in those little shorts...(though she can't act her way out of a paper bag....)

Who I'd rather see?

Luke = Ben Stiller
Bo = Owen Wilson
Jessie = Charlie Daniels
Daisy = Carmen Electra
Roscoe = Bill Engvall
Boss Hog = Danny Devito
Enos = Jeff Foxworthy (sans mustache)
Cletus = Drew Carey
Cooter = Larry the Cable Guy

Shameless plug. My wife's brother has a small infatuation with the show. (See his website) He even has his own working General Lee. It's not in perfect condition yet, but it's getting there.

Anyways, have you seen the trailer for the movie yet? Got to see this one. Daisy's (Jessica Simpson - Why is her hair blonde instead of brunette?) comment at the end just killed me.

I was a bit dissappointed after seeing that Boss Hog wasn't fat. I suppose they're not trying to make it exactly like the series.

Bad casting or just a flat-out bad idea. I'll have to go with the later.

PS I thought that 'Buffalos have wings?' chick was cast as Daisy?

My list was who I'd LIKE to have seen...to do the proper cheesy homage to the old series....

The real cast is, well....really bad...

Two words....Johnny Knoxville... I mean WTF were they thinking???

Come on people lighten up, whats wrong with Sean William Scott. He will be funny and bring some life into his character Bo. I cant wait to see him in action.
