dollmonster... EXACTLY. people dont think about the long run (or the fact that ANY amount of time in a county jail turns you bitter) I think that the
fact is that because teens tend to rebel they become easier targets for police and judges. I for one am sorry to hear about your son and can relate to
him. I have to do 30 days in august for simply touching a cop (who chased someone through my backyard and let all 3 of my dogs out) and saying excuse
me (You cant touch a cop in uniform) When i said in court that it was ridiculous, the judge laughed in my face. These people have no idea what they do
to us (your son and I) when they make "examples" out of us. Not only do they get you that time, but next time when they need a scapegoat they jump
right to you!! Its really sad that people think we need TOUGHER laws or stiffer punishment, when you think about how petty the "crimes" are, how
about catching murderers or rapists or making tougher laws for sex offenders?? Not curfews and teens.
