Read this and tell me what you understood from it:

Please could members refrain from starting threads that are based around:

what is your favourite gun

who would win if the ??? and ??? went to war with each other

who has the best army/navy/airforce/secret service........
etc etc ...

This forum is for information about Military weapons technology past, present, and future.

ALL POSTERS READ THIS!

Change your wording to to get away from the cliche' of "who had the better navy during or the most powerful ships during..." and it might save this topic thread from being moved or closed, chinawhite.

Dang.

Foiled again.

After reading the headline, I was thinking this thread would address one critical issue in the history of Europe in the 1000's: Which medieval ruler had the best all-around belly-button.

After having read both your question, Chinawhite, and your redirection comment, Seekerof, I assume that we could change this post and turn it to:

China's Empire fleet during the 11th to 14th centuries

Maybe can you give us some more infos about this "Zheng He, 400ft Boat", chinawhite? I'm pretty sure that China's Naval power at this time is not very well known by us here, (at least for me...).

Any other things about it?
