Couple questions

Topic started on 3-5-2005 @ 09:57 AM by Rren

I recently, about a month ago, downloaded the new boinc software, and added the Seti@home to it. About a week or so ago I added the Einstein@home, and to date have had no problems, but it seems that I can't 'update' my Seti@home project(I have three completed jobs), but I have no problem updating my Einstein@home. Anybody no if it's a prob with Seti or does it sound like it's my computer?

Unrelated to that, my Einstein@home screensaver graphic shows the 'celestial sphere' is this an accurate geometric representation(ie, I thought space was relatively flat) or is it just for aesthetic reasons?

Also I have noticed the ATS team, are there any downsides to joining, if so what are they.

Thanks Rren

There are some problems with the network @ Berkeley. I think the seti servers are unreachable; check the news: setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu...

Right now I cant upload finished WU's, but I can download new ones...

I dont run the einstein project, so I can't help you with that.
