The other day at work i was talking to some co workers and i get a low toned ringing in my right ear, it sounds like its close and coming from a far
place at the same time...
today it happened to me while driving with some friends, i asked if they heard it but they said no.
Ive had it throughout my life occasionally.

tinnitus? it's an ear disorder that causes odd noises in the ear. it's treatable. might as well check out the mundane stuff first, right?

yes my recommendation is go to a doctor and get a check up.
I hear noises as well sometimes but its usually the barometric pressure when it drops suddenly or so doc says.

Some tinnitus is treatable. Some isn't.
I have had it unceasingly since April 1995, caused by the Jesus & Mary Chain on the one occasion I should have been most careful to remember my
earplugs.
I have two simultaneous pitches in my left ear, and a whole symphony orchestra in my right. It doesn't bug me, but I will never experience total
silence again.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I think I get the one you have as well, separate to my permanent inner ear entertainment, and I have put it down to some
other form of aural damage. It is accompanied by a somewhat 'hollow' feeling in the ear which I think has something to do with air pressure and my
balance mechanism.
But it might not be the same at all...

a conspiracy-related topic to this...with some claiming that it's due to them picking up low frequency transmissions by government agencies....
There was even a term for the people with this, but I forgot off the top of my head...
I too have the problem, but it isn't terribly bothersome...more of a nuissance...

Sounds like you have an implanted cell phone in the side of your head, from an alien abduction. You may not remember this event, but one morning you
would have woken up and said to yourself "Man that must have been some party, my head really hurts"... but you forget that it wasn't a party..
Next time it happens stop what your're doing and say "Speak now, your servant is listening great Alien". You may have to repeat this a few times,
.. don't worry if people look at you funny, you are conducting a scientific experiment....

Hmmm are you sure?
You may have had times when you just can't remember what you did at 3:15 on the day before, or you may have woken up in the morning and felt tired,
like you hadn't slept. You probably are a target, the sound you hear is the transmitter either sending the signal back to the mother ship, or the
mothership trying to talk to you.
It could even be that they can control your thoughts when the buzzing happens, be careful....

I hate to get off subject but now that you mention it
I first became aware of this in the spring of 1995 while having a blueberry stack at Denny's. I had dropped my napkin and was reaching to the floor
to pick it up when I noticed they were missing, and thus the three words first escaped from my syrup coated throat. "Where's my pants!!!!!" A
phrase that would be repeated by my tortured soul a thousand times over. At first I had no idea where my pants had gone and after this phenomenon had
occurred repeatedly for nearly a year I finally sought help from psychologists. Intrigued by my problem, the scientists put me under a strict regiment
of treatments that included: hypnosis, shock therapy, enemas, LSD, and Vulcan-mind-melding. After several months of this, memories began to surface.
Memories of pant thieving aliens!!! I will not bother you with the details of these memories. What is important is that you know that this is
occurring, and it will happen to you, that is, if it hasn't already.

I have a better answer to that terrible situation.
The blueberries in your desert had sat too long in the box and gone mouldy. The mould, had hallucinagenic properties and during your blackout you
ripped your trousers off and stood on the table and yelled to the middle aged ladies on the next table "DO YA WANT SOME OF THIS DESERT HONEY'S?".
Then the drug wore off and you found yourself sitting back down with no memory of what happened.

I use to hear a tone like the old tube tvs use to make non stop as a child. Now off and on.
I am noticing that there are alot of things that pop up here that don't pop up else where that I can relate to. THe streelights going out and tv not
wanting to tun off, this, I wonder if any of those of you who are blessed with gifts also have troubles with migranes as well?

I get varying degrees of this noise........sometimes it's just a low buzz, and sometimes it's the "tv" noise, high pitched.....It's strange
because twice this month I've had the high pitched one too.....
It worries me sometimes, makes me think I'm gonna have a stroke or something, but it could be anything......

I hear the same thing all the time,
It's either your ears have changed and they can hear stuff at higher and lower frequencies than normally, or it's mind control radio waves you're
picking up.
I think it's pobably the first one,
if it isn't too bad. It's not like I can repel mind control and foregin influence. I have a pretty strong mind, but if smeone was in my mind, I
wouldn't be that strong anymore.
Don't worry about it,

It happens to me sometimes, usually when I get out of a 8 hours rave-party then head to my room to try to get some sleep, the buzzing noize is there.
Probably a side effect of the music being played to loud on insane-monster-like-speakers.
