I find it ironic that the only nation on earth to EVER use nuclular wepons on another nation of human beaings is bitching about some one else being in posession of atomic wepons. if anythign the world should be telling amarica where to go... but i guess its just the biggest bully on the playground senario again, what kid in the right mind would dare have the balls to throw even the smallest puch?

Actually, I would be willing to wager that I know a bit more about my nations history than you. Try reading some of Howard Zinn, a well renoun American historian who deals with historic truths, not the textbook dogma.

Very nice, Kidfinger.
I have read Howard Zinn quite extensively, but I have also learned to keep things in perspective also.
Lets be fair and objective here shall we, Kidfinger?

Howard Zinn (born August 24, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York) is an influential American historian and political scientist, whose political philosophy incorporates ideas from Marxism, anarchism, socialism, and social democracy. Together with Noam Chomsky (with whom he has collaborated on several books and speaking engagements), Zinn is among the most well-known figures of the radical left in the United States.

Two words, Siroos:

Delivery System.

India has their own space program, they are much more likely to be able to develop and deploy an ICBM than Iran, should they wish to. If you can put a payload in orbit, you can build an ICBM. The only reason they don't is that neither of the nations they wish to deter require particularly long range.

IMHO the real concern about Iran's nukes is not that they will be likely to launch a first strike against the US (a suicidal move to be certain), but the threat that they can retaliate if we or the Israelis decide to attack them "preemptively", a far more likely scenario.

The whole "global dominance" outlook promoted by PNAC and it's alumni specifically calls for ensuring that no country be allowed to develop technology or forces capable of repelling a US attack. It is not a defensive posture (though they try to sell it to the public that way) but an offensive one.

'Powers That Be' which currently make sites like This One possible. (warning: very graphic site)

Actually even the prophet Mohammed was an assassin and a raider, so claiming that Islam has never killed anyone is not true. The first thing done by the newly converted Muslims was to spread islam by the sword to every region in the Middle East and even to Europe.

What Osama and others like him are doing is to follow up the steps of the early Muslims for Islam to dominate the world one way or the other, even if it means by the sword.

I’ll repeat---“Islam in and of itself has never killed anyone…….” You make my point: Various interpreters of Islam for what ever reason do the killing.

Muhammad aka. “The Holy Prophet of Islam” may have done the acts of which you speak, Islam did nothing.

Briefly:

Muhammad, is a prophet in the religion of Islam (just as Adam, Abraham, Moses and Jesus) contained within the realm of Islamic culture, history, belief and the religion of “Islam”. Followers of Islam are called Muslims and as for Mohammad, according to Islamic beliefs, he was entrusted with the power of explaining, interpreting and living the teachings of the Koran.

Osama follows Wahabism an etremist sect of Islam

What a sad and scary world we live in, where tyrannical leaders who kill or ensalve their own people, threaten their neighbors, and whose only goal would be to brutally slaughter every man, woman and child in the western world are given kudos and praise for standing up to the "evil" United States.

Fortunately for you folks. You may soon get your wish. The future doesn't look to bright for any of us at this point......and when you and the one's you love, if you have such a capacity, are living in chaos, squalor and hunger, you'll all remember when there was some semblence of saftey and order in the world and by golly, the US may have had some small part in maintaining it.

Unfortunately there won't be such forums as these for you to use your INTELLECT to complain as freely as you please.

Tyranny does have one admirable facet....it won't allow self-righteousness and liberal arrogance have a forum.

The TulipWalkers will never admit this, they hate their won country, although they find it difficult to admit it even to themselves, deep down they want the United States to fail, even though they themselves loose in the long run, they feel vindicated with the "We told you so!"

I for one am thankful that a man with balls such as Dubya is in office and that he does not bargain with POS's like that North Korean a$$hole. You can't deal with these scumbags that way. Although I feel it will get worse in the short term, I feel our only hope is to make our stand now (and by that I mean Western Civilization as a whole). Right now, Europe for the most part wants someone else to the work, even if that means they have to play good cop bad cop for a while, but soon they will have to address it with more than the a$$kissing that France has made famous.

Well i'd fell no less safe with an Ayatollah with a nuke than i do with Bush with a couple of thousand to tell you the truth... Iran and Nth korea have only decided to get nukes coz they know their on the US hit-list... so they're getting some deterents... and if the US is so earger for everyone to stop making nukes and disarm... shouldnt they lead by example...

I commend the Ayatollah for being so up front and un diplomatic... its abou time someone told the US the truth without veiling it in sensitivities and politeness.

2.Wait till they have them, and when they launch them at isreal or iraq and kill lots of innocent people, Itll still piss of the liberals because he didnt stop them preemptivly

Bascily whatever he does, its going to piss of the liberals..

Same thing with nk..

Where did the inteligence go in this conversation. I read thru this and I think I got stupider. I see two sides, those that hate america and those that support it. "..takes the beer away from everyone and hopes everyone will sober the hell up.."

America will not drop any nukes no matter how much you'd like to use that as an argument for your cause in whatever childish attempt to prove whatever sad point you have. You can hate bush but the people still run this country. I ask those that are sick of what we're doing to stand up and make your vote count rather than bitch and whine about how upset you are.

The point here is Iran doesnt need to have nuclear techology or nukes. Please drop all biased opinions to the curb here before replying. We have them and I wish to god we never had to use them in japan. Considering the nature of Iran and how pissed off they are with America I cant have any faith in the fact they want nuclear technology with good faith.

I respect Islam but not the fanatical tribal control over its religeon and its people. As long as these fanatical tribal leaders that have so dominated the middle east and butchered islam to there own benefit are still in power Im going to stand my ground that they shouldnt be trusted with nuclear techology.

The only reason they are on any list is BECAUSE THEY ARE MAKING NUKES! If they stopped making nukes, they would have nothing to worry about!

So why do they continue to make nukes? Because they WANT TO NUKE ISREAL. It's that simple. They want to nuke Isreal, nuke the US, and nuke western Europe. They want to kill the infidels.

Frankly, the idea that Iran is anywhere close to responsable enough to be allowed to posses nukes is just laughable.

MasterofDisaster, thast a real IGNORANT way to look at it

' Jee's, because the US has used the bomb before they have no RIGHT to tell others not to have them '

Why do you think they used the bomb?
Because they knew the sucidial tendancies japan would go to. for years and year and years resultnig in many more deaths than the bombs ever did.

They know the destruction of it, and seem to be the only RESPONSIBLE country on the planet with him nukes should be trust for.

Pull ya head out of the sand!

Umm, seeker of, I was being 'fair and balanced'. I was reffering to American history as it actually happened. Not what you learn in 8th grade history class, or what our government makes immigrants learn. Seek, if anything, you are being 'unfair and un balanced' because of you attempted negative portrail of the historic truth.

All the criticism comes from neocons and right wing bible bashers.(Not that all of the right fits this catagory). So why should I subject myself to more of what you are telling me now? Im unfair? Im unobjective? on the contrairy......

No i dont think Nth Korea wants anything to do with Europe or Israel...

Any Kim and the Ayatollahs aren't dumb, they know with their tiny arsenals they have nothing on the US and Europe... they'd never use them on anyone, only as deterants... anyway they were both on the hit-list before their nuclear ambitions became known

It seems that the overwhelming idea here is that Irans leaders are stupid, incapeable and unable to see the wood for the trees.

if this were the case then how have they ruled Iran for so long?

No country will launch nukes without a damn good reason, they exist as a deterrant, fire then and that deterrance is gone.

Only in right wing wet dreams will nukes be used by Iran, N.K or the US, not even Israel is crazy enough to nuke someone without a devastating WMD strike first.

Noone wants to use them, they are a threat. Calm down, breathe and relax. If you really, really want to see nukes blowing stuff apart then go and watch the alst five minutes Dr Strangelove again.

So I am a moron? I speak only lies? The same could be said of the Tulipwalker mentality you so embrace so much.

Again, history has shown that your line of thinking will always end in failure and yet you still embrace it?

Twist the truth? Are you sure that you are not guilty of what you accuse? The case could be made that you are living in a dream world that has no bearing on reality......

I find it funny that this has broken down into the old Iran needs to be taught a lesson because they are making nukes rubbish.

There is absolutley no evidence they are, they have completely co-operated with all inspections and are following all the rules.

I guess some people just have this twisted fantasy about killing other humans and will create any excuse to do so.

That's a pretty big key point to leave out ed (and yes i inserted it there to complete your sentence). the Russians have said they will only provide them with the needed materials to generate electricity and they said they would monitor their activities.

what more do you want? do you want the entire Iranian government to grovel and beg us not to bomb them? i mean really.... there is NO LOGIC behind Iran attacking us when they know for damn sure there would be nothing left of the country but a sheet of glass.

i mean unless Iran on the whole is suicidal it just doesn't make sense. the only country who should be fearing Iranian nukes is Israel.
