The latest batch of opinion polls suggest the increasingly hard-fought election campaign has done little to sway voters.

Labour remain on course for a strong win, with Conservative support dipping slightly in the Lib Dems' favour.

Three polls published on Sunday give Labour a vote share of between 36%-39%.

The surveys put the Tories on between 31%-33%, with the Lib Dems between 23%-22% - with one poll suggesting their support is up 5%.

The CommunicateResearch poll for the Independent on Sunday will make the happiest reading for the Lib Dems, putting them on 23% and the Tories down 4% on 31%.

Labour look set to win a third term in power. Its seems nothing can change the minds of the voters, not even the war in Iraq.

The reasons why Labour will get re-elected:

- Apathy
- An unfair democratic system
- Lack of real opposition
- A nation who believe anything

Politics is spin, lies and more spin....we're no longer people we're simple potential votes

But he was elected to do a good job not a ok job, and it all depends on what people deem ok, he lies to keep face, so do all politicians, there is nobody better currently that is the number one reason he'll get re-elected.
