I guess I need to go file a police report and ask them to get the damned IP information...this is un****ing believable.

Well that is disturbing. Good that Amazon got back to you about the incident. File a report with the authorities. (Hopefully with a report # you will be able to get the IP addy.) I agree, the intent is a more troubling aspect here.

I'm sorry that happened and that it doesn't appear they were trying to order it for themselves, but rather to cause alarm and concern.

With your substance and style I agree with everyone that has mentioned you have the makings for a fascinating book here, as well as a screenplay (omitting the DD so that they don't have the satisfaction).

Yeah I was replying about the first letter above but I see you already have it covered.

Sorry this happened to you, again.

This is all really unsettling Val.

There's also the mysterious post your username made that night on ATS, could Springer check the IP of that post to see if it was from your computer?

This is getting more than a little freaky!

This is seriously the best stuff I've read in years! Val, I'm impressed that you've been keeping every one on ATS posted on your "situation" over the past....what six years? And thanks for doing that. I'm completely on the edge of my seat with every bit I read. The pictures are enough to make anyone a believer! I haven't listened to any of the audio, cos I'm a bit of a scaredy-pants. To be honest, I would have ran and not looked back. On the bright side, lovely silver spoon you've acquired.

There's no question in my mind that you're dealing with some sort of entity in your home. Have you considered getting a medium to come and see if he/she could answer some questions for you?

I've been thinking about the connection of the Harry Potter book (this really is like a puzzle). I don't know what the significance of the folded down page could be, but possible your little guy ghost just likes the story. Have you watched the movie in your home? Maybe there would be some sort of reaction to it...I dunno. It's a possibility.

Another idea, if your ghost likes to use the computer...maybe leave it on one night with some questions on it for it. Maybe it will communicate that way. I'm personally hoping that the ghost is your culprit in all of this, cos if it's just someone trying to scare you, they're a twisted jerk-off!

Hope your puppies are alright. Can't wait to see what happens next. Good luck. I'll keep reading!

It was from my IP. That's what led me to believe I had done the totally out of character scenario of getting up about an hour after I went to sleep, sleepwalking (for the first in my life as far as anyone has ever let me know), sleep-surfing, sleep-posting (on a thread I have absolutely no interest in and saying something I don't even agree with), and then sleep-shopping (for a movie I've never heard of).

Thank you, Littlemiss. To be honest, no, I have not considered a medium. It's more out of a bit of a personal fear I have that they could upset some one and then what is tolerable would become...intolerable, scary, not good??? lol

But I will consider it.

I know for sure that Springer and my daughter have watched the Harry Potter movie here at the house (I'm not that into them). I like the idea of leaving the computer on with some questions and see what happens. Might be interesting!

is your computer in your kitchen still?

Im trying to figure out what part of the house it is connected to.

As for bringing in a medium, its not always a bad idea. You just need to know the person enough that you trust they are not a wack job. Than can help.

For instance. I mentioned my cousins house earlier. After visiting with the spirit/s in her house, I was able to find out why she was there, and in turn was able to help her enough to provide comfort. My cousin or her kiddos have not had any issues after that. It was something as simple as laying down a hand made blanket on the closet floor. Also, something to note, the one spirit that was causing the issues at night, she is still alive.

Hi Val, I have read with immense pleasure the accounts of the last 6 years. Yes, it took me the better part of yesterday afternoon and since 8 this morning but it was well worth it. Just a couple things that stand out to me that I don't think have been mentioned with regards to the amazon purchase and your mystery post.
Interesting that his happened on the day of Swayze's death. Patrick Swayze had another hit movie besides Dirty Dancing, called "Ghost" If you've not seen it, there is a scene where Patrick, in ghost form, does use the computer to communicate. I think the idea of leaving it on and with some questioned posed is well worth a try. Also, just poitning this out though I have no idea of any significance, it just jumped out at me..Dirty Dancing and Danny Darko should be relatively closely located in any alphabetical listing.
I also thought that Henry and Harry were relatively old names to be so closely associated with each other. Maybe there is some connection with the 7 yr old boys first name, to the Harry name? Just a question you may want to pose if you get the KII sessions in swing again.

Also, I think that post made under your account that night should be looked into deeper. It may have meaning you are yet to understand, as with the other incidents that have happened and only made sense later, ie, the cubby.

This is quite the interesting thread.

I'm only on page 16. Alot of the links to pictures are non working (they are almost 5 year old threads I'm reading) are there any updated links to pictures?

I've had a few "paranormal" experiences. Didn't want to post them here as not to muddy up your excellent thread.

Wow! What a thread, and a super interesting topic. I have read this thread for over a week now. It's like a book I can't put down! Exellent job on keeping us up to date. Thank you for sharing.
Have you thought to look thru your computer at the cookies, history or temporary internet files to see if you were logged on Amazon at a time when you should be sleeping?
Also, you mentioned that you posted on ATS. Was it to this thread? Maybe you could find that post and repost it here? I agree with someone else that mentioned, maybe that posting is somehow related, and will give us more food for thought.
Have you watched that movie yet or are you? Its funny, I was looking for a movie to watch this weekend, and saw it on the pay per view listing. I too never heard of it, and since I know about it through your story, I was too spooked to watched it!!

My history is set up to delete every 3 days and it was almost 2 weeks before I knew about the purchase, so I can't check that way. However, when I went to Amazon to check my account and see if the movie had been purchased on my account, I was logged in...so there was an active cookie at the time. I don't recall buying anything from Amazon for several months, so that was weird.

If you will send me a u2u with links to the posts that have broken image links, I will see if I can get them fixed. Not guaranteeing anything, but I'll try. I've had two hard drive crashed in the six years I've been keeping this up, so you can imagine I've lost a few things.

Here is the thread I posted on at a time about 1 hour after I went to bed.

Here is the link to my single post

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I'm telling you I would never even care about that thread let alone post on it, and I actually think the video is kind of funny, so I don't even agree with what I posted.

For me, it just just adds to the mystery surrounding events you have discussed concerning that evening. Especially with your own comments about your comment. Maybe there is something larger at work there.

Do you have any evidence of any other instance where you took a sleep aid and engaged in uncharacteristic behavior? Usually people have a history--sleepwalking, night terrors, etc.

No one has ever seen me walking around in my sleep. As far as I know I've never sleep walked...let alone shopped and posted.

Val, a friend of mine used to take sleep aids. Never sleep walked before. Then one evening she took Tylenol PM and within an hour or two got up and proceded to make macaroni then went back to bed. Unfortunatly, she did not add any water to the the pot so by the time her husband came home from work, the macaroni had burned and filled the house with smoke, and the bottom of her pan melted off. She never remembered a thing, and she doesnt even like macaroni and cheese (I know, weird).

My Mom's friend takes it as well, but she only takes it when her husband is home, because she leaves the house. She drove across town to a store and bought something that she does not eat, brought it home and went back to bed. The only reason she knew she had left was because the box was still on her kitchen table.

They are not the only people I have heard of who sleepwalked while on Tylenol PM. The time period that you say you took it to the time you made a post on here fits the bill.

PLEASE do not take it again while you are home alone. It is not safe. I refuse to take the stuff myself. If you are really having issues falling asleep, try some hot chamomile tea. Lipton makes a great one.

WoW! I did not know about this side affect. I had heard of this type of behavior with prescription medications and that is why I avoid them. I only occasionally take the Tylenol PM (like when my back is hurting and I need to get a good night's sleep). But I will take your advice and not take it when I am here alone. (Curiously though, Springer always goes to bed several hours after me and he has never caught me roaming around doing things...?? Maybe this was my 'special night'!)

Good news is...this bizarro side affect may explain the whole Donnie Darko issue!
