When are you going to give it another go?
Good to see you back, hope you had a nice Christmas and New Year![]()
Actually, last night my son and my grandson came by for a bit and I was telling my son about it. So we got the meter and stood in the same general area (a little closer to the front door but in the same "former vestibule" area). I said this is my son Chris and my grandson Ethan and if you want to talk to them then if they ask you a question that the answer is yes, you just move in front of this thing and turn the light on...three lights go on, then off. So my son says turn the lights back on...three lights go on and stay on. My son said turn the lights off, and it goes back to the default one light. He did the same sequence again and the lights came on when he asked and went off when he asked.
One other interesting thing about last night is that when I turned the meter on I was standing just about exactly where I was standing the first time and the meter went to three lights and wouldn't turn off. I walked around that location letting the meter change directions as I made a small circle and the lights stayed on. It wasn't until I stepped about 3 or 4 feet away from the original spot where Springer and I had done the first session that the lights went off. They stayed off until the above sequences of statements and lights happened.
Another funny thing...lol, my seven year old grandson. I was careful never to say anything while he was here about "we're talking to a ghost". He must have thought grandma was crazy because to him it appear I was talking to the meter. After the lights came on and off at his dad's requests he got real excited and he hollered at the meter "turn the lights on!" And I said, no, you can't be rude, you have to ask it please to turn the lights on. He said please turn the lights on, and the lights came on.
I'm going to buy a new battery (I just got this meter in the past couple of weeks and it came with a 9 volt in it) and change the battery out just as a step to eliminate any doubts.
