We just had our first thing to happen when we were in the room!

Springer and I were standing in the kitchen talking about getting some wainscot stained and finished. I said, "That would be good because then we would be finished." And just as I said that a medicine bottle that is sitting on the kitchen cabinet jumped up off the counter, bounced a couple of times, fell on its side and rolled to the edge of the counter!

We both kind of stood there going....oooookaaaaay. O_O

maybe this spirit just wants you to keep working on the house. It seems to be more active whenever you're doing home improvements. Aren't you glad Springer was there to witness it too, I know I would be feeling relief that I wasn't the only one experiencing oddities. I wonder why it wanted to get the attention of both of you.....

No, camera wasn't on. We don't turn the camera on until right before me and my daughter go to bed to cut down on activations (Springer stays up later, so there's still some he causes).

Springer noted it was weird that it happened just as I finished the statement "...because then we would be finished". Now, that statement isn't in reference to the whole house (lord knows we've got a decade of work ahead of us to finish the whole house) but just in reference to one particular job.

It was crazy but kind of neat, because we were both standing like less than 5 feet from it when it happened!

Talking about demons...spirits. I end up in hospital few months back, heart stopped and then brain failed, somehow I came back. few weeks before that i heard three loud taps on bed beside me. But I didnt worry. After I woke up in hospital things were very strange(was on life support)..but we won't go into that area.

But at home (which is only a house 8 years old). I started hearing bangs on the walls and on bedside table. thing moved across my notebook keyboard,, felt it touching my hair. taps on pillow beside my head. End up playing games with it one night(you tap a sequence then i will). It shuts my door, I know about air pressure equalizing between rooms, but the door won't shut when i walk out, happens after like 10 minutes(no drafts or open windows), stopped for a few weeks now it happens again. Some nights I tell it to piss off, other times I pray and rebuke it. My mother thinks its the spirit of death pissed off I didn't leave.

I have been very sick most of my life. Car crash when i was 14yo, rolled car and i went through sunroof woke up with car on me, then when i was 19yo, nine months in hospital from another car crash i was passenger in(lost kidney, 2/3rds liver, heart attack, lung failure, pins plates). then cancer year ago. then depression and alcohol related to cancer stuff and hospital few months ago after girlfriend left.

My sisters kids have stayed here and had what they say wasnt a dream of someone sitting looking at them in bedroom. mums been here seen flashing light. She felt cold breeze on her face at night. Dad's felt it watching TV late. Dad has claimed kitchen table lifted up, yesterday he said felt spider go all way down his back ripped clothes off nothing(but thats his claims, I know mine are the real thing and it just spins me out). My sister has came in house and heard it within minutes and wouldnt come back in house. My cousin sat on toilet and heard bangs and freaked. Yet my mate stays over has never heard a single thing...weird, but he says he believes me about it, many don't. People kind of think it's a joke now.

I was thinking it was going to leave, till last night came back worse then its been for a while. touching my head and I couldn't find where it was knocking last night. It's getting smarter? I never getting worried anymore till other night it just freaked me (cold shivers to the bone) when it just went tap tap tap...for a whole minute!

I just heard in then in my room second time in hour, and its only early wait till dark..alone! My German Shepard won't sit in my room, he just looks at the walls weird.

I even sat camcorder on stand one day.. it was on only few minutes when I was outside as I was just playing around with camera at time, anyways came in looked at footage to see any weird things.. and saw like some static or something move across camera just on footage where the edge or bed was and beside table.

Few things i forgot.. don't know how...ok.. believe or don't. don't care just want to share. early on when i first got out of hospital..when it was mentally breaking me down.. i was awake all night out of fear. I finally fell alseep when the sun was coming up..i was so tired i was passing..yet I heard loud banging of what would of been the beer fridge in the games room(old garage) which is through wall, behind my bedhead when i sleep. then as i half woke to sound i felt something go through my body..lower back/kidney area.

other things remembered. before I really lived here my mother had the room as a spare room. she heard growling in the cubbord. and another time she saw shadow.. she was really distressed over the growling because she just didnt want people to think she was crazy.

As for the door today, while I think it could be paranormal given the history of what's been happening, it could also be because air pressure or temperature change that caused the door to get stuck in the close position and then pop open when you tried to open the other door... just a thought.

I don't think air pressure but, I do believe it might be caused from the opening of the screen door. I just jostled Springer awake enough to tell him about this and he said that he DID get the door to "stick" closed last night (it doesn't latch, but if you get real rough with it you can basically make the paint stick - I just tried this myself by yanking it closed several times, about every 3rd time I could get it to stick the other times it just went right back open). So I think it was sitting there just bearly stuck closed and the vibration of me opening the screen door probably made it give way.

I think this is all physically explained.

If it's been raining or dry the house will move. But doors just don't shut by themselves. I walk past my door and you'd think the wind from my movement would close it, but it doesn't or the dogs tail going past it. But I come back later and its shut. one night the door stop dragged back right next to me and the door started to shut. My guest is quiet tonight by I haven't tried to sleep yet.

I know its hard not to think about it. I walk past a room and it will bang right in front of me. I find if I have been out all day long when I get in, it seems anrgy.

But if the bathroom door was stuck closed before you went to use it, wouldn't that mean that someone made several attempts to get it to stick closed, then carefully open the screen door so as to not jostle the bathroom door open, then carefully close the screen door after they got back into the house? Who would do that?

But you're probably right, it most likely is something 'normal', like what you mentioned.

Due to unbelievable circumstances it's been a looong time since I've been here (last time was while Katrina was causing havoc in the States and SO was causing havoc with his avatar in spandex) ... after a day of searching for this thread and two more diligently reading two years of posts I get to the end and it STOPPED over a month ago!!!

Don't keep me in suspense ... have you found out anything on the spork ?? Any more happenings in the kitchen ?? Anything found on video ??? Any response to your thank you note ??

Nothing to add on the spork. The online pattern identification was a sad let down. All they did was say "Silverplate,England,Kings Pattern". Well hells bells if I hadn't been lazy I could have found out it was Kings Pattern and it is, in fact, a "Kings Pattern" as identified by the pattern on the handles.

But I already knew it was silverplated in England so that doesn't help at all in identifying the manufacturer.

I got no response to my thank you note and the spirit didn't take the spirits...lol.

My damned webcam has something wrong and that is why we were getting the bright frames with the little defect in the upper left corner so now I have to go buy a new one because I got tired of reviewing frames that were apparently caught due to this glitch in the camera. Now, if I ever get a new camera and it does something similar, that might be worth talking about.

It's been very quiet around here. We separated the spork and spoon into the different drawers and they stayed there for weeks and weeks with nothing odd happening, and then I put them back in the silver case where they are now living happily side by side.

Not mentioning all that has already been pointed out with this picture, but it most obviously reminds me of smoke from something on fire. (still not wanting to jump ahead to the end as I read this very good thread, but praying there wont be details of a house fire in the remaining pages..)
