Don't worry. The news media will milk at least another week out of this story. I sincerely doubt anyone in the media wishes she was murdered. There are plenty of stories. It seems they are coming faster than they can be covered these days.

Originally, there were going to be several family members fly to ABQ to get her, but only her step-father actually came. I would suspect that her family members are coming back down to earth and will be expecting some serious 'splainin'. Live footage from the ABQ airport, showed her being escorted through the airport with an sweater or some such over her head. I would suggest that she have made a fashionable sack to wear over her head for the rest of her life.

Alas! She was so close to eternal bliss, but again got "cold feet" and called the authorities.

I think the female officer doing the escort is on Reno 911. For real.

Eh, maybe not.

That's Officer Trish Ahrensfield, APD spokeswoman, perhaps the most buxom law enforcement officer in American history.

According to this, the "wedding is not called off, just postponed."

I would think this would be one of those, "Can we still be friends?" moments.

I think her "prominent family" or she should have to repay the costly search efforts. What a loon. They both look like a couple of mental patients.

Me too. No kidding.

She even sounded like her.

Grady if you have policewomen like her why arent you out being a bad boy?

I hope this cow gets some years behind bars for her stunt. So far she isn't being charged. I'm tired of everyone making excuses for women when they do crap like this. If this were the husband that pulled this stunt he'd be behind bars right now without bail. Just another Andrea Yates. Someone else to make excuses for.

Actually, except for a heavy foot, I'm a pretty dull guy, living a very dull life.

This not funny people, Two days before my wedding I got cold feet and I told my mother about it.

Oh boy, she straighten me up in an instant, she told me that it was to late and to much money invested in the affair not to count the 350 invitations that were already send.

Well I am still married after 24 years.

We all go through some kind of pre-wedding blues, beside my Island was to small for me to go any where to far.

The main reason feminst came out of the woodwork to defend Andrea Yates was because her husband was a fundamentalist christian, something that John Mason is, also, although I got the impression that he and Jennifer were living together before she took off, though I could be wrong. It looks doubtful that she will be charged by any agency, as the only time she actually broke a law was in ABQ and I don't think APD will charge her under the circumstances. They're probably just glad to get her out of the state.

Well, marg, at least you confided in someone, instead of taking off for the hills. That's the issue that gets most folks, not the "cold feet." That's understandable. It's the cross country bus ride that I don't get.

I'm not proud to admit that many long years ago, I had sex with a woman who was getting married the next day. She wouldn't take no for an answer. I think this must have been what was on her mind.

I'd like to know how much money her cold feet cost tax payers. She needs to pay the price just like any man would. And if they aren't going to put her in jail then let her pay for the manhours involved in her search.

Lord Grady, that was bad..............I guess she wanted to have some last minute "priorities" to settle down before getting marry.

Grady you were the lucky one.

I think someone pointed out that there is both a criminal and a civil component to this case. At any rate, her family will bail her out. Ten years from now they will laugh about this at family barbeques.

Personally, I can't believe that Mason would actually marry the woman. Just because you love a woman doesn't mean you have to marry her.

Rant,

I immediately thought the same thing..!
However, believe it or not, I'm pretty sure the 911 gal, is modeled
after a Female cop that I DO know. And she's really ftom Reno..LOL

On Topic,
This runaway bride may not have realized that her actions would have caused so much commotion. It really did escalate, and rapidly.
I have a theory that it was the Mom/Daughter realtionship that triggered the whole anxiety attack..I believe MOM was running the Wedding.
600 people? geez...
I also heard the mom, on an interview with Fox, invite all the Fox people to
throw them a HUGE shindig..I thought it was a wierd thing to say..

What does roast hubby taste like anyway? Is it like venison?

Mmmmm...venison...

Apparently Laura has her finger on the pulse of America moreso than her husband. She knows what we want. Oh yeah...

I'll have a drumstick of that turkey, and pass the gravy...

Ok, I'm done. Back in my hole now.
