As you all know, the republican party has sold it's soul to the religous nuts in this country. In speeches at a Mega Church, the leaders of religous nuts and the GOP spoke out against the Left. All of them talked about how the Left were oppressing the Right but trying to block 10-15 judges out of hundreds. The next words out of ALL of them, after saying the Left was oppressive, was how the people need to stop those damn gays and jews. Yep, literally in the same sentance/next sentance they went from Liberals Are Evil For Oppressing Us to Stop Those Evil Gays and Jews.

Also, you control, the House, Senate, White House, and Judicial Branch, HOW THE HELL ARE YOU BEING OPPRESSED! That is like the Taliban saying they were oppressed when they controlled Afganistan! Or Saddam saying he was oppressed when he controlled Iraq! How the hell can you be oppressed?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! YOU CONTROL EVERYTHING!

Sorry, I just can't believe they feel oppressed when THEY CONTROL EVERYTHING! They can't be oppressed, they are the majority, they control everything! They even own the companies that make the voting machines that voted for them! How the hell can they be oppressed?

Also, how the hell can you keep blaming dems for everything wrong? YOU CONTROL EVERYTHING! You can't be stopped, you own/control every branch of government! If you want every black person rounded up and shot you can do so for no one can say no for you control EVERYTHING!

Even better is when they say changes need to be made but haven't. Gee, maybe we should change who is in the WHite House, congress, SC, since they aren't doing the changes the religous nuts are calling for.(in case the person reading this is one of them, the Republicans control !EVERYTHING! and if they want something done it is done, so the reason your changes that you want haven't been done is that the Republicans haven't done it)

Or whats sad is that they Still Blame The Democrats! How can you? They don't control anything! They still blame Clinton for 9/11 even though it was done under Bush, after he had cut millions from anti-terror programs, after he told the FBI that he didn't want to hear anymore about terrorists, after he was given documents telling him OBL was going to attack with airplanes. Yet they still blame that boogyman Clinton. Bad economy? Blame the boogyman Clinton. NK gets nukes? They openly said it was Clinton's fault even though it started with Bush Sr, and the fact that Bush Jr had 5 years to stop the deal his daddy made was somehow not mentioned....

Well, I guess it the republicans turn )vs. the conservatives turn) to run the show.

FDR would have controlled the Supremes if he had his way, too. He had a plan to FORCE all Justices over a certain age to retire for the good of the country, then he would have put his own men in place. His plan failed, thankfully.

Well, there is some logic in that. You get a SC judge with alhiem. or is senile that not good. "The SC came out with a new new law, from now on at 3pm on the third saturday of every month with a U we are to pull our pants down and sing Candles in the Wind by Sir Elton John." Now where's my pudding?

Anyways, I don't remember FDR complaining about being oppressed..... Like the republicans do. They still whine when they control EVERYTHING! They don't realize that they have power or what? They can't count or something? Or don't understand what it means to have the majority in everything? They don't realize that hey, if they don't like the economy, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! You sure sound like one angry person when it comes to the Republican's "wah-wahing" over nothing. And well you should be. I have to say one thing, because I couldn't resist: After reading your 3 or 4 posts in this thread, if I had not been aware that the Republicans control everything, I sure am now!

But seriously, I did know anyway. But JtL, what concerns me, is the fact that if they're up there whining, it sounds more like more propaganda to me. I'm afraid that they know all to well just what they can and can not do. It's a matter of when, and what is their best strategy, so that the people are lulled into accepting it, whatever it is, and whenever they decide to do what attrocious thing that will make a few more billions for the "elite".

I'm not sure that dubya has a clue, other than the very basics that he has probably been coached on over and over by the ones with the brains.

One thing I'm fairly sure of though, he said it in one of the first press conferences he did after being re-selected. Some reporter tried to offer advice while asking a question, and dubya very indignantly said, "I'm the president, and I make the decisions"

Come on 2006 Senate and Representaticve Election! Maybe get rid of those dang idiots. I mean, when the dems controlled did they go "WAAAA!! We are being oppressed!"? But now the reps control, and all they do is whine! And vote against giving armor to the troops.

39 voted no, 38 were republicans, the dem one was from Hawaii, which only has 12 letters so unable to spell yes.(that last part was a joke)

The biggest problem for Democrats is leadership. There is no legitimate leaders in the democrat party. They are run by a bunch of left-wing socialist and Americans are not going to fall for their "Blame America 1st" BS.

As of right now Hillary Rodham is the frontrunner for the Democrat nomination. I sure hope this doesn't change, because this will ensure Republican domination for years to come!

So sad, Satan on Rep. ballot, Jesus on dem ballot(which he would be, he was a socialist) and you have republicans who would vote satan. Condi Rice would be a great choice for the Republican nomination, as would J.C. Watts from Oklahoma. I don't like Colin Powell too much not because of his color, but because he is in the McCain wing of the Party. I can't stand John McCain, he is too wishy washy (moderate).

In Louisiana's last gubernatorial election, I voted for Bobby Jihndal, born and raised in Louisiana but of Indian descent. We instead got stuck with Kathleen "Rodham" Blanco, and now we are about to lose the Saints, are threatened with higher taxes. All because idiot "moderates" voted for a woman instead of a middle easterner.

A Republican woman or a Republican black will be elected President before a Democrat woman or black ever would. Why? Because there are more blacks and women in higher positions in the Republican party than the Democrat Party.
