I was watching a show on the history channel I believe and there was a cryptozoologist talking. He said that the Chupacabra is not classified as a cryptid because all reports of it's appearance would be impossible. That is, they say if this thing exists as reported, there is no way it is a natural being of this planet. Perhaps they consider the Mothman to be the same way?
