I read the link in its entiraty and for the life of me, I can't see how any rational person could conclude that a membership in masonry could present any conflict in rendering health care to people?

If you are awair of one please let me know.

In fact the link stated examples where no conflict had been found. To the extent of my resurch to date I am unable to locare any documented conflict of intrest. Seems like "or British cousins" are barking up the wrong tree. But it is their time, effort and tax money they are wasting.

All-Seeing Eye has a history of posting links to articles that completely contradict the stance he has taken. This is one of those examples, don't be surprised. He needs to think a little more before posting, that's all.

As a newbe here, I can use all the advice I can get from the instructive tongue.

I followed the link on a different thread as he sucgested. While I've not gotten through the whole list by any means, a random sampeling gave me the idea that if you use that material for a primary referance sourse, well it would make anyone paranoid.

OK well then if they want to open that can of worms, members of the Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias, Orangemen, Elks, Moose, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, OTO, A.'. A.'., Golden Dawn, Lions Club, Rotary, as well as any collegiate fraternity etc etc ad nauseum should be required to declare membership. Why pick on Masons? Because they are the most widely known? Please...

While they're at it they can make all Christians wear a big cross on their chest, have the jews wear the good ol' yellow Star of David and Muslims sporting a big crescent on their chests too...

This seriously makes me sick.

Forgive me for pointing out, but I see no reference in ASE's original post that infers anything to the positive or negative about the Masons.

Correct, but this is one of a number of similar posts which have a cumulative effect. In this instance I was referring to the link itself as 'negative propaganda'.

I relish discussion on the subject, but posting out of date news links is just wasting everyone's time.

I quite agree there are other groups that could be attacked but for some reason the the freemasons get the brunt of it. I guess that the F. and A. M. is an easier political target. Nevertheless the prejudice is undeniable and it seems to be rife in certain quarters.

As 'Trinityman' intimates much of the fuss seems to have dyed down now, but it is still there. The Freemasons have put a lot of efort into P. R. and it seems to be paying off.

Anybody of reasonable intelligence can see what the freemasons are really about. The Oxford Rituals are available from most good bookshops in the UK and by reading them the interested party can see for himself what freemasonry means.
