Paul Martin - I would rather have John Manley

If John Manley were the PM instead of Martin I think I would still be a Liberal. I have never liked Paul Martin. He's not the great Finance Minister people think he is. Here's what he does to balance the budget:

Imagine if you will, your boss gives you an extra $500 a month bonus every month which you use to pay for your car financing. Then one month your boss owes $300 to a credit card company and decides not to give you your bonus and use that money instead to pay his credit card bill so now he has a $200 surplus and you can't pay for your car that month. This is what Paul Martin does. He takes money that is supposed to goto the provinces and all of a sudden we have a surplus and the provinces suffer for it.
