"FBI-UFO Connection"?

Has anybody read this book? It's got a forward by Friedman, but it's seems to written (thus far) in a very...tabloidy kind of way. Very excitable type writing.

I've gotten it out from the library, but it just doesn't seem serious.

Anybody got any opinions on it?

Nope sorry pal haven't read it, but it does sound similar to the book on the link I posted.

Having read through their UFO files on their FOIA reading room, it doesn't seem that the FBI was really in the loop all that much. It seems they got scraps, and were mostly fed the same bs the public was in most cases.

Just look at the teletype they have right after Roswell, basically giving the Mogul coverstory (but without acknowledging the name at that time). Then there's another memo from Hoover wanting to know the real story...

I don't know if the online FOIA has all the same documents you could get through a physical request. But I'll bear that in mind. I only got it on a whim, I'll report back once I'm finished.
