(and Colonel if you've been around here)
I have about 5000 comics, mosty Silver Age or later, some Golden Age. Disney classics, Marvel, DC, Image, and a few independents.
The 60s X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast and Iceman) were better than the 1975 reinvention or anything since. They were edgy and Stan Lee's
best creation. Especially the plotlines around the Sentinels and Sauron. Do you have any Neal Adams drawn X-Men?
Other 60s (Marvel) classics were Dr Strange and Avengers, also (sometimes) Spidey and the Steranko Captain Americas and SHIELDs.
I liked The Maxx and some of the Vertigo titles.
All I really bother with now is Viz (British underground toilet humor) and Cerebus... occasionally a Black Panther. After the "Ultimates" started
coming out I realized just how illiterate the current market these things are pitched at is.
Always the 'dandruff of literature', once a lot of fun, now dumbed down beyond recognition.
