Light in Eastern Sky.Go out and look

There is a bright light in the sky right now.There have been other threads on this subject.The light just started appearing does anyone know what it might be?And does anyone else see it. I live in Northern Florida.

It hasn't shown up in Arkansas yet....if it does i'll get back with ya.

I live in southern NC, been out all evening and I haven't seen a thing.

I first saw it at around dusk when the sky wasnt even dark yet.Its right up there by the moon.Its brighter than the rest of the stars,it really stands out.

You are looking at Jupitor it is quit bright and will move west as it gets later. Eventually be above you. I have been checking it out in my scope this week. It is amazing to see a planet ant the moons surrounding it from my own back yard.



I live in Ft Walton which is also North Florida.

Sucks Jupitor isnt closer right now. You can still see the cloud layers but when it's closer to us you can clearly see the spot. And Im not sure but I could have sworn once I was able to make out the thin line of its rings.

Definately Jupiter, and since the mystery has been solved I'm going to lock this one up. As Alien Infiltrator said, there are other active threads on the topic.
