Newflash: anti-Americanism PREDATES Bush. It's been going on for YEARS. Bush isn't the problem here, people.

Right now, I have a negative view about the world's asinine opinions about the USA and there's something about the world's reeking of hypocrisy, convenient bias and blatant ignorance toward what the USA is about.

The "blame/hate America first" mentality around the world is going too far.

You got something to say to the American people? Say it! Right now. I'll be sure to pass on the messages. That way the favor can be returned in kind.

Your right somw anti-american sentiment does predate bush... but the majority of it came in the last 5 odd years... Trust me I am one of 'hte rest of the world' and i have seen first hand the way your countrys image has declined since Dubya came to power... Clinton was respected by the world community... sure we didnt agree with everything he did, but we didnt hate him... well you know how people feel about bush.

I concur, and I think the galaxy can shove its opinion of the world right into its black hole too.

I agree with you oleno, to an extent. I can understand how fed up you were with this garbage, I assure you my blood boils at the same temperature as yours when I hear some of the crazy stuff that gets spewed against Bush. People think that just because you can MAKE something look a certain way makes it so. They also seem to think that they can be as racist and prejudiced as they want against America, and it's ok because we're America. I just about never resort to name-calling, and I'm strictly against it, but I can see how you could lose your cool. Trust me, I've been insulted by liberals and Anti-Christian people far worse than you insulted that other guy, but the people who insulted me got away with it. Next time, just make a good strong reply to their point. That usually gets it off my chest.

Bush is not the MAIN problem, dude. He is a PART of the problems, a significant one at that. And that problems are called the NWO Elite. Clinton is the same thing as with Bush (why do you think Clinton has been friendly and cozy with Bush and his father so far?).

We should be attacking the roots of the tree, not at the branches.

i was reffering to adolf hitler and nazi germany. my point was that their countries could be very differnt from the socialist paridices they know now if the US had not gotten involved in WWI and WWII. europe would either belong to the facist(nazi's) or the communist. im sure if russia had her with germany she could of taken all of europe also. europe owes its modern day existance to the US. hell we didnt have to stay and help rebuild we could been dicks about it and left.

So you expect everyone in the world to understand the NWO is controlling the American presidents... thats not going to happen... understand what Bush stands for, what he says, what he does, and who he represents (the rich) make the world look at him in an unfavourable light... theres nothing you can do short of changing his, or the majority of the worlds view... good luck

I don't know what you people mean by saying that Bush is screwing over the poor people. America has always been the land of opportunity. Anyone here can get rich, they just have to work hard for it! Sitting around and blaming other people for their problems will do NOTHING to help them. You just have to get up off the ground, and work really hard. My uncle did it, and my dad did it. They both grew up EXTREMELY dirt poor (Brothers, of course). My uncle started a small business in land-scaping, turned it into an underground locating service, and sold it a few years back for 20 million dollars. MY family was poor when I was growing up. Around the same time Bush got elected, my dad was starting up his business. We went from barely being able to make the bills, to being pretty damned comfortable. My dad's small business is better off under Bush. I mean we're not super-rich or anything, but we definitely much better off than we were before my dad started his business. People that sit there and make excuses and blame the president for their failures will never get anywhere with that attitude. It sounds brutal, I know, but it's the truth.

To all who complain about anti-american statements on ATS: can you please define what you mean by "anti-american"?

This label seems to be thrown around a LOT these days, but nobody really takes the time to explain what really "anti-american" means.

I am sure the involvment of the US during world war 2 war more instigated by Japanese involvment..

I think the confusion is in the fact that many people do not hate the American people but think the administration is bunk..

The Definition of Anti American is anything that isnt right winged, conservative, Fundamentalist, Bush loving or Pro wealth... usually expressed by non-americans... although anything by american right winged, conservative, fundamentalist that pays out on France, or Islam, or Germany, or anywhere else... is ok..

That, to me is what alot of people on this board read as un-American... it seems there is an insecurity among some who cannot take their nation being scrutinised...

LMAO
I just went and finally read what you got warned for... (i know i should have done it earlier but i didnt think it was neccesary)... but man you blew up for reason not cool at all... even if i wasnt an 'anti american heathen' or whatever i would think the same (i think, i cant 100% confirm that). The dudes you blew up at were pretty much stating facts... i'm probably lining myself up for a blasting here but i dont mind... but if you were to blow up at everyone on this board who were annoyed at america (and Britain... yet its not anti british bias) for fabricating evidence and using phony intelligence to justify a joke of a war... well you be yelling (or typing really fast in caps) for a long time... and the guys you belw up at didnt mention who gave Iraq their WMDs in the first place...

You didn't pay attention closely to what those guys posted. They were not stating facts, just presenting opinionated viewpoints that have a clear bias. They screwed the pooch and I would not allow slanted or biased viewpoints to overshadow actual facts and ignore historical circumstances for the sake of partisan slams against the Bush administration.

But if you prefers partisan slams while ignoring actual facts and historical circumstances, be my guest. It just to show that you're nothing but biased and one-sided. :| Too easy for you to blame someone for something as most infantile-minded anti-Bush folks would do so conveniently.

Ok so it infantile to want answers?

Man a country was invaded and 1000's of innocent civilians killed all on false evidence and speculation! now its not directly Bush's fault, but wheres the accountability... if you know anything about leadership skills you would know that the leader of the group must be aco#able for the actions of the group... its was US (and British) intelligence that was flawed... so its the US and British leaders that have to take accountability and accept responsibility...

If no-one questions these false allegations made against Iraq and Saddam, then it gives the USA free reign to go and do it again, and again... Just because people start to question americas actions does not make them anti-american... it makes them pro-world, and pro justice.

It's not just the term "anti-america" now. To me, the words "liberal" "conservative" "left-wing" and "right-wing" have lost all meaning. Especially the word "liberal". They've been thrown around too much.

How verrry convenient of you!
I guess for you, the leadership of China is not accountable for the actions of their citizens causing violence and disruption against the Japanese consulate and businesses nor is accountable for its military build-up and stockpiling of 700 missiles aiming at Taiwan nor is accountable for the continued occupation of Tibet for 50 years?

Oh, yeah, are you going to say the leadership of Russia is not accountable for the actions of their soldiers in Chechyna nor accountable for the clusterf*** handling of the Ukrainian election last year?

As for Iran and North Korea, either leadership not accountable for their SECRET nuclear weapon build-ups?

Sure, veerrry convenient of you to blame US/UK for all the woes. Ignore all others, not worth your criticism

Oh on contrare, they are worth my criticism... but this thread isnt about anti chinese, russian or korean Bias. Its about US 'bias'.

Also this board is a predominantly US populated board and there are alot more people defending US actions... Also the US being the Sole superpower these days has a level of responsiblity not to abuse the power it holds...

Your just going to have to live with the fact your country isnt as great as you think it is to all people... theres oging to be criticism and if you cant cope you need to stop communicating to people from around the world.
