It's nothing to get worked up about. I've been in the commercial shipping business for 10 years now and have seen my share of big seas on both
Coasts and the Great Lakes. You will always get a set or two that have really large swells associated with them. It's just the way it goes. We had
a rogue wave take out our Lexan glass windows in the wheelhouse on one ship I worked on about 200 miles off of Alaska. We lost all our electronics
and made for a damn long night. The wheelhouse is approx. 75' off the water.
It's just mother nature flexing her muscles
