And from his subsequent list of subjects that should be taught (the vocational ones he suggests) it is very clear he subscribes to a corporate model and all pupils should be taught how to be good employees, not good citizens...

You may eventually figure out that one is an essential sub-set of the other.

Socialism is by definition any political ideology which is best for the whole of society.

It doesn't have to be spoken of in many of those settings and what do you have to fear by it? Many people who bother to read up on the subject see that it is a much better system than the one we have right now.

Not sure what your alluding to there. A good citizen is a good employee? Or vice versa? Dependant on which way round you put it, you could have two different meanings.

Niether are employee and citizen interchangeable. You could be a model citizen, but be an awful employee. You may be an employer or you may be unemployed.

A good employee does not make one a good citizen. A good employee will do what is right for the company, but that will not necassarilly translate into being a good citizen.

There are many examples of people doing what they must for the company which is against the law of the land.

Those people end up in jail/fined or both. That does not maketh a good citizen.

Maybe in money-obsessed America, where the corporation is God, that would be so, but in any other civilised society, doing what your boss tells you does not make you a good person.
