Humans are Paranormal

This may sound strange. But just imagine to other animals and living things, humans must seem paranormal. How is it that out of over a million species on this planet, one species ( homo sapiens) have a brain over 20 times more specialised than any other Living thing. This is just probably just one of the Paranormal traits of a human, there are probably many more.

I've heard that our genetic code is 1.54% different than a chimpanzee. Humans are different because our ability to think abstractly. Our able to conceive ideas to enhance our enviroment to suit us. Animals cannot think abstractly to conceive ideas such as that. Although that is not a true statement I just made because a few birds, chimpanzee's, and gorrilla's are able to use tools to get food and such, kinda like us, one hundred thousand years ago. Maybe our rate of mental evolution is just rapid comparative to their's? The professor's never returned my letter about this, probably thought I was a quack.
