Nope.

At best I could have "confirmation" from a RAF officer (I won't mention his name) that an exercise did happen around Christmas time in the seas between Iceland, Russia and Scotland. He never wanted to actually confirm it wasn't an exercise.

When I mentioned that I believed it would rather have been a scramble (emergency take off, usually due to a threat alert), he insisted that some exercises are scrambles. I do not deny it. However, people sent on exercise missions, even involving scrambles, are made aware that they are participating in an exercise.

Obviously, admitting that it wasn't an exercise would break the cover of the event, if it ever happened, and he would hence break the seal of secret.

This was all a friendly conversation around a good beer, nothing formal at all. I must also point out that the man didn't seem interested in talking about UFOs.

Other than that, well... nope. Nothing.
