Wake up Americans
The ranting and raving about my side is more pure than your side is bunk. The nation is a little sick right now and the cure is not in sight.
A wannabe empire to be sure. Every empire in history has self-destructed. Every one also had an 'ultimate weapon.'
Almost- we also have enormous natural resources that almost no other country has. Without those resources America would have been not a bunch different from an enlarged Southwest Africa.
I loved this. I too have blamed Chamberlain off and on. Then I read some history of Greece, Hungary and Czechoslovakia realize that America too made concessions that were not in accordance with stated policy.
America is awake, not on a nuclear rampage as some seem to think excusable, but awake and very active:
