To those who missed my post in another thread. Tiraspol might send troops to
Georgia. Georgia made a decision to oust the Russian troops from their provinces. As a response to this, Tiraspol might send troops. Abkhazia said
that the Georgian decision to expel the Russians could lead to a war.

Russia is not interested in adding either Belarus, Transnieter, or Abkhzia to the Russian Federation. Sure Russia is supporting them, because the
majority of people in those states are Russian. But in neither case does Russia want to risk starting a full scale war because of these regions. The
UN won't interfere as well. And if Georgia really does attack south Ossetia or Abkhazia, you can bet there are goin to be mass killings of
civilians there. So Russians are indeed peacekeepers for the most part.

Moldova made another step towards demilitarization.
In response,Transnistria might destroy some of its equipment just to make a good impression,but i think they'll still have plenty to go around.

Wow, Moldova destroyed all of its Uragan rocket launcher systems. The last three systems were destroyed by Moldovan troops who had just arrived from
Iraq. More than 1,000 of these systems were apparently destroyed May 17th 2006. Interesting. I seriously doubt Transdnestr will destroy anything
useful though. Those Alazan rockets are still missing, right? Or did some of them show up on Zarqawi's video (yes, I know he is dead now)? One of his
latest videos (if not the latest) show lots of footage of Alazan rockets. I wonder if Al Qaeda or Hizbollah got some of the radioactive ones...

The last three Uragan rocket launcher systems belonging to the National Army were destroyed today at the training centre of infantry moto brigade,
Stephen the Great. Attending the event, Defence Minister Valeriu Plesca told journalists that over 1,000 such rockets have been destroyed on the
shooting ground on 17 May 2006. The last three of them are destroyed today.
Reintegration Minister Vasile Sova said the Uragan rocket launcher systems destruction is a message for the Tiraspol authorities to significantly
reduce the military potential, because the Transnistrian conflict can be solved only this way. The last three Uragan rocket launcher systems were

Hezbollah
Hezbollah`s special operations unit ("Muntamat al-Jihad al-Islami" - MJI or "Islamic Jihad Organization") have purchased weapons from Transdniestr
(Pridnestrovie). Maybe Hezbollah even have radioactive Alazan rockets? This is a big article and there are 4 articles in all (parts 1 to 4).

Shortly after Hamoud`s arrival in Moldova, commercial relations were established between the Shia agents and arms traffickers in the area of the
conflict in Pridnestrovie. Following the collapse of the USSR, the local Russian leaders declared the independence of the republic, counting on
becoming a part of Russia. Moscow's covert support of the separatists led to the armed confrontation with the Moldavians. When the war ended,
Russia's position and influence on local leaders remained, as did the deployed Russian forces in the region. Yet as a result of the battles, all the
economic infrastructure in the Republic of Pridnestrovie was demolished, except the military industry built in the Soviet era, which became the main
source of profit for this separatist district.
A high-ranking MJI delegation came to Pridnestrovie in 1997 in the guise of "Lebanese merchants". They visited the "Elektromash" plant in Tiraspol
and the "Pribor" factory, being accompanied by the representatives of the "Sheriff" – the exclusive local arms company, which belongs to the son
of Vladimir Smirnov - the President of Pridnestrovie at that time. He personally authorized the deal selling light arms, machine guns, ammunition,
anti-tank missiles and portable anti-aircraft rockets to Hezbollah`s emissaries. The MJI network provided logistical support for transfers of this
weaponry via Bulgaria, Armenia and Abkhazia (another Moscow- backed separatist region in Caucasus).

Seems like Hezbollah got a particularly potent version of the Russian-made RPG-29. The Russians denied having supplied Hezbollah with modern anti-tank
weapons. They say if Hezbollah have any, they must have gotten them through third countries.

Most logical source of RPG-29s is from Syria, either from the patch delivered to Syrian Army. Or more likely from a patch deployed by a proxy, such
as Transdniestria to Syria to Hezbollah, without any revealing paperwork...
There have allso been indications of SA-18 Manpads being deployed to Hezbollah, but they have not yet been used...

Another Bus Blast In Tiraspol
Another bus exploded in Tiraspol on Sunday. There were 30-35 people in the bus and two of them died. Two grenades detonated in the rear part of the
bus. Two unexploded grenades were found later. One of the dead is a six-year-old Russian girl. They are speculating whether the masterminds of this
blast might be "underground people" and not really "terrorists"...

Two Suspects Held In Custody
Two Tiraspol residents have been arrested in Tiraspol. They are charged with "keeping and trafficking illegal items" and are suspected of being
involved with the organizing of Sunday's bus attack.
