Not a secret base, but I love this view of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Texas.

And you have got to take a good look around Fort Hood! Check out all the munition storage north of the main base.

Now this is an interesting area within Ft. Hood. Note the six lines radiating from the left side, the increasingly widening lines cutting across the central road with loops on the ends.... and then on the right side of this set of paths look very carefully for two things: a set of three circles around a dot, and a Star of David. I'm guessing it's just some of the grunts having a bit of fun with over-flying aircraft, but still very strange indeed.

Moffett Field has some cool structures. There are quite a few wind tunnels. And you can see some static display aircraft near the giant wind tunnels, including a U-2.

In a suspicious perfectly round clearing in Chicksands Wood labelled "The Hill", there seems to be a prehistoric stone circle (pictured below) rivalling Stonehenge. Are the folks at English Heritage aware of this hidden gem?

Ok now the hexagram and triangles pics are extremely weird for me, seeing as these are genuine satellite images. I can accept quite readily with the area being used to test out ultra top secret technology, even possibly alien tech. But what the hell are these pics about, why the hell are they making these symbolic shapes in the desert, would serve no practical purpose I can think of. Leads me wondering whether some of the previously thought 'way out there' ideas thought associated with the TPTB might actually hold some truth. The "hexagonal" area is a common design for SAM sites, dating as far back as the Vietnam War. The central area is where you would park your radar and control equipment, with the corners of the star being your missile placements.

EDIT: This is most likely the deal with the "Star of David" pattern in my Fort Hood findings. But the Ft Hood one still seems to be very odd.

Are you talking about the area to the east of Vegas? That would be Nellis AFB. The big area above Vegas is the Nevada Test Range.

I would actually be more interested in southern Arizona. Notice that many of those large gray areas don't have any labels on them and you can't zoom in all the way. Is that all Yuma Proving Ground?

This is unrelated to facilities, but check out this funky alignment problem with the satellite image that occurs right over Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix.

UFO or helicopter at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ www.youtube.com...

I was just surfing the Net about Area 51 and many believe that UFO activities at the base has been moved. I watched the video "UFO Special" www.youtube.com... ... re = related and came across a flight card from a pilot who said it was moved to the air area R-6413.

So I searched the R-6413 on Google but little about the secret missile base .. So I looked at the map again and saw the word Tenmile Wash, so I Googled it and found some links where it might be in the United States, Utah or Arizona? But I decided to find Tenmile Wash in Arizona on Google Earth and found it. There I found a mountain that had many wires that went into it.. Hmm. Underground base? But where did the wires come from .. They came from Yuma Proving Ground. An air base near the town of Yuma.

So I zoomed around a bit and found a UFO on the runway .. Or what is it? See for yourself and judge!
