Are you 100 % sure that it isn't fake... of course it can be real... But somehow i think tath an animal like that would have been spotted earlier in a neighbourhood tht is densily built like that one...

i'm of like mind
this is photo of a ???wire haired Terrier, with a bob-tail....
caught in a position of leaping or trick walking on hind legs,???

just a 'timely' snapshot of a normal event
which, out of our normal 'time-reference' & context
looks 'alien', out-of-place, weird, because we are conditioned to 'see' things

(if i recall, the caption which accompanied the oop photo,
stated the photographer was unaware there was anything out-of-place
in the picture frame when taking the photo...))
so was the ? family pet? running around as normal? in the backyard?
and overlooked as being in the picture because of a conditioned, mental bias...or is this photo a serendipitous thing...the photographer secretly
knowing it is the household pet caught in a very weird looking action scene

It might be a fake, unless somebody taught their cat how to walk. Its very unlikely that it is real, can you imagine a cat on two legs?

How do you figure that out? Do you run a layer check or something like that? I'm not much on photoshop.

Yeah, and what surprised me was the person when taking the picture did NOT notice that image in the view finder when taking the shot.

Why is this thread still going?

The animal is nothing special if it is real - honestly people, let it go.

squirrels have tails, so this has to be a killer gopher.
