Cheesy Love Poetry

Don't know how many of the females members of the ATS domain would relate to this, but in my culture and upbringing, teenage years were filled with lots of cheesy love poetry. Here's a sampling of my collection, share yours:

All of these little nuggets were written by Anonymous (yeah you know that famous guy )

Mother locked the door
Father keeps the key
But neither of them
Can keep _______ away from me.

Remember the robin
Remember the dove
Remember the day
We fell in love.

Meet me tonight
Hold me tight
Give me a kiss
And say goodnight

Down by the seashore
Written on a rock
Three little words
Forget me Not

I wish you were a tea-cup
In which I take my tea
And everytime I take a sip
It means a kiss from me

Kisses in the kitchen
Kisses in the hall
Kisses in the bedroom
Are the sweetest ones of all

Tell your mother to hold her tongue
For she had a guy when she was young
Tell your father to do the same
For he took your mother and changed her name

I have alot of more those, but some are too crude for me to repeat

Prayer of Teenage Girls
Heavenly Father Full of Grace
Bless my boyfriend's handsome face
Bless his hair that curls and
Keep him away from other girls
Bless his hands that are so strong
And make them stay where they belong
Oh heavenly father up above
Please protect the one I love.

LOL, that is pretty funny. If you are going to write a love poem, why don't you put time into it? (Rhetorical question, not meant for anyone here)

Ma Kvitochka (My Little Flower)

My wild flower, exotic and free,
Catching the sunlight whilst smiling at me,
My delightful kvitochka, radiant and true,
Looking so beautiful whilst I’m smiling at you,
The earth and mother nature combine into one,
Symbiotic perfection observed by the sun,
Summer breezes blow gently, as soft as your kiss,
As they pass, I must also, my flower I’ll miss.

The news that I’d lost u brought me to tears
I still remember the emptiness I felt, already missing u
The way u made me laugh, think, wonder…love
The idea that someday, memories may all disappear, fills me with a void
A dimension that’ll remain unclaimed by any heart
By any soul, that will stay empty until my life ceases to exist
So let me take this opportunity to just say…
I adore you, dream you, worship the ground you walk on.
U are the love of my life

I love poems! It’s almost like watching ‘soft porn’ only it’s our imagination that we form pictures of what the poets try to convey with words.

The smell of fine leather
your lips of bright red
the studs on your collar
and your expression said

no back talk, little mister
it's you I must train
nuthin says lovin,
like a little pain!!
