What was the outcome of that Diebold promise in 2003?

A recent thread in ATS reminded me of this. Did anyone ever find out what president of Diebold (the voting machine people) meant when he said he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year (2004)."?

Yes. He was a man of integrity.

He met his commitment to ensure that Ohio would fall the way of the Bush campaign.

It was excellent work. Walden O'Dell as C.E.O. of Diebold, manufacturer and seller of tamperable voting machines, delivered on his word. Walden O'Dell as campaign manager for the Republican effort in Ohio delivered on his word.

There was no conflict of interest and there was no voting machine fraud, otherwise we would have heard of it! It was never in the news.

Walden O'Dell did a great job and he should be rewarded in no less a fashon than, say, Kenneth Blackwell.

Business as usual in the "democracy" of the United States of America. It's all good!
