I have a rather analytical nature, and I feel I'm both skeptical enough to not flow with any breeze that comes along, yet open minded enough to accept reasonable, logical conclusions. I've been reading many of the posts on this site in the past few days, and this has to be one of the most well-rounded sites with this content I've ever seen. Most of the people pose good questions and good arguments. Most of the people are rather receptive, even with little to no proof at all--but they don't jump right in and say that someone is right. The environment seems very educational in an area that is most commonly held by people who's motto seems to be "I'm right and if you don't believe me you're with the bad guys." I haven't seen that at all from this site. I would really appreciate the chance to interact with the other members of the forum if at all possible.

I am a PhD student studying the privacy implications of DSRC and other vehicle technologies.

I really don't know what to say here. I am a firm believer that our government is not doing what is should and not telling us what they know. I do not believe our government should have those powers over us.
