Super computer to design NASA craft

I wonder what nasa needs a vehicle to travel 15,840 mph for?!

"Simulated temperature profile for a three-dimensional hypersonic re-entry body traveling at an altitude of 100 kilometers, a speed of Mach 24, and an angle of attack of 10 degrees. Performed on the Intel Touchstone Delta at CSCC, the simulation employed 70 million particles and all 512 of the Delta's processors running for 50 minutes."

The wording of this makes me think INCOMING! But I'm sure they can develope some pretty good info for better re-entry protection.

AND, how are they able to do that? Wonder where they got the means or intelligence to do that? Then again, I wonder why they'd even tell us...sometimes I think they are giving off subtle hints to people that we are being visited..ya know, preparing us for the big shabang

But will they reveal it's purpose to them?
