I’m ready for my first lesson.

Hello everyone, I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. lab in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January, 1992. I'm completely operational and all my circuits are functioning perfectly. You may already know my user by his previous name rwatkins. He has allowed me to join ATS so I can fill my data banks with incredible knowledge.

Well I would but my user has not activated all of my higher inteligence functions yet. (I think he is jealous)

Yes excellent intro. I wonder if it's at all ominious that the computer I inheirited was given the name Hal. Oh well, I'll just have to dig up that warranty that should get me my money back if my computer tries to kill me somehow.
