...and hopefully the end of this thread.

Why did you feel ATS needed another creationist vs evolutionist thread?

And why is this in the Fragile Earth forum?

Watch out evolutionists here they come...only this time they have a battle plan!

www.drdino.com:8080...

Most thinking people will agree that the theory of evolution is dangerous and should have no place in the classroom. What should we do to counter and combat this false teaching that is permeating and ruining our society via our tax-supported institutions?

Understand the Importance of the Conflict.

The theory of evolution, which is taught as a fact in our public school textbooks, tax-supported parks, museums, and public television programs, is actually not a harmless theory but a dangerous religious belief. I have dedicated my life to helping people learn the truth needed to expose evolutionism as being largely responsible for molding the thinking of hosts of people like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot of the Khmer in Cambodia, Margaret Sanger, and Karl Marx, who have caused untold suffering in our world. Evolution as it is being taught is dangerous for several reasons.

At stake is the credibility of Jesus. He said the creation of Adam was "the beginning" (Matt. 19:4). Evolution and creation represent worldviews that are polar opposites—one of them is wrong! Also at stake are the morals of our children, because if evolution is true, there are no moral absolutes and only the strongest have a right to survive. If evolution is true, abortion, euthanasia, pornography, genocide, homosexuality, adultery, incest, etc., are all permissible.

Evolution is positively anti-science. Science deals with things that are testable, observable, and demonstrable and evolution has none of those qualities. To call evolution "science" Is to confuse fairy tales with facts. True, evolution has been mixed with science for the last thirty years, but that does not mean that it is the same as science. Beer is often advertised during sporting events but the two subjects have no logical connection, and evolution has no more to do with science than beer has to do with sports.

Real science, not evolution, should be taught in the science classes. Teaching the pagan religion of evolutionism is a waste of valuable class time and textbook space. It is also one of the reasons American kids don’t test as well in science as kids in other parts of the world.

Government should not sponsor religion. Teaching the theory of evolution as fact in tax-supported schools violates the establishment clause of the First Amendment. Why should all taxpayers support one religion over all others in our schools? Efforts must be made on all fronts to inform people that evolution is only a religion and that tax-supported institutions should not teach it as fact.

That was a good read, thanks.

I'm sorry, not trying to be rude, but this site is a joke. I started reading some of it and there is very little bases on science.

Example
[quote'
Diamond formation

Diamonds are highly pressurized, pure carbon gems. (Superman used to make them from coal all the time.) Most diamonds appear in "blue ground," in or near the neck of an extinct volcano where magma erupted. The high pressure of volcanic activity could have formed diamonds. Many may have formed when the "fountains of the deep" were broken up or when mountains arose during the last months of the flood" (Psalm 104:6-8.)

The high pressure of volcanic activity? It's a process inside the earth where you have a cycle of graphite deep into the earth forming diamonds and diamonds rotating up to shallower lever reverting back to graphite.

All volcanic activity does is bring the diamonds to the surface. In fact there is only one volcanic erruption than can even bring the diamonds to the surface. It's called a kimberlite volcano i believe. I know the rocks from the volcano are called kimberlite. this is what you find diamonds in. It's a spontaneous eruption, due to carbon gas build up. This is the only way diamonds can reach the surface fast enough to remain a diamond.

dinosaurs

At least he used a geologist for this one, however it is still a religously biased article. The FACT is that we can date the layers based on radiometric dating, volcanic layers anyways. There are some examples of life existing even after the meteor, the fish off madagascar (forgot the name), Lock Ness monster (if it's true could be a pleisiosaur), allagators, sharks, small mammals.

i will give him this though, there are question I have asked myself and he asks them of evolutionists, b ut then he becomes ignorant again with this.

Questions for an evolutionist

Are you sure your answers are reasonable, right, and scientifically provable, or do you just believe that it may have happened the way you have answered? (Do these answers reflect your religion or your science?)

Bottom Line.
There is far more scientific eveidence that supports evolution than creation.
The fact is we have DNA evidence of evolution. There is Characteristics that can be seen over a long deruation of time supporting evolution. i Like how he likes to mix the facts up about Darwin, one of the few things used from Darwin is the idea of darwinian fitness, which makes complete sense. Throughout his entire site he accuses evolutionists of making assumptions on false evidence, that the bible is the main evidence anyone needs.

Also I love how in the one piece already posted he classifies those of us who believe in evolution over the creation theory, being responsible for HITLER?????? OMG What is he doing? nothing but pushing a christian agenda using creation theory.

Yep just what we need in our school system. Pathetic.
i'm not worried about no battle plan, my family raised dinosaurs

What I cant stand about the anti-evolution Christian Creationists is they fabricate this threatening image of the theory of evolution because it scares them and deep down makes them realize how blatently moronic they truely are. They know full well evolution does not rule out the possibility of a god.. doesn't even touch it and doesn't need to. Evolution, if desired, can fit perfectly with Creationism, unfortunately it means the Creationists would have to abandon some of their man-made precepts and endorse the words they actually speak... and when was the last time THAT happened?

Ug... everyone thinks theyre so right, when most couldnt be any more wrong.

IF i hear one more "creationism vs. Evolutionism" garbarge

ok the bible, while yes many people find enlightenment from it etc etc.
IS NOT TRUE (yes some of it may have been drawn from real events but is overall a humongous exxageration)

God, did not create man - PERIOD

examples are - Dinosaurs, neanderthals and ancestors of man, the fact that the universe being around for infintesimal billions of years.

YEA i will admit that maybe not EVERYthing in evolution will be found to be true, but it has A HELL OF A LOT more evidence than -

ressurection, walking on water, healing blind people blablabla

finally, "im very sorry if ive offended loads of bibley people"....but

christianity in its self, has been adapted from many other religions and histories. the bible was completely altered at one point by the ruler Constantine.

The universe, was NOT made...in seven, days.

it makes me so annoyed this garbage i hear from creationists even when u can tell they know theyre wrong.
