Do you guys know the meaning of a Moslem Son? That is what the N.O.I. call white Masons. Elijah Muhammad and Farrakahn were/are Masons. Not 100% sure about Malcolm X though.
This is what the "Supreme Wisdom Lessons" or "120 Lessons" say about the subject:

"Why does Muhammad make the Devil Study from
thirty-five to fifty years before he can call himself a
Muslim son? And wear the greatest and only Flag of the
Universe? And he must add a sword on the upper part of
the Holy and Greatest Universe Flag of Islam?

Answer: So that he could clean himself up.

A Muslim does not love the Devil regardless to how
long he studies. After he has devoted thirty-five or
fifty years trying to learn and do like the original
man, he could come and do trading among us and
we would not kill him as quick as we would the
other Devils(mentally) - that is, who have not gone under
this Study.

After he goes through with this Labor from
thirty-five to fifty years, we permit him to wear our
Holy Flag, which is the Sun, Moon and Star. He
must add the sword on the upper part.

The sword is the emblem of Justice and it was
used by the original man in Muhammad's time.
Thus, it was placed on the upper part of the Flag
so that the Devil can always see it, so he will keep
in mind that any time he reveals the Secrets, his
head would be taken off by the sword.

We give him this chance so that he could clean
himself up and come among us.

The Holy Flag of Islam is the greatest and only Flag
known.

The Universe is everything - Sun Moon and Stars.
They are planets. Planets are something grown or
made from the beginning.

And holy is something that has not been diluted,
mixed or tampered with in any form. "

This symbol spoken about is the symbol of the Shriner degree(s). The N.O.I. Masons are talking about white Masons here. They call whites their sons because white people came from black, whether through evolution or according to them; grafting. Elijah Muhammad wrote a book called "The Secrets of FreeMasonry". I haven't read it yet but I bet it talks about some wild Sh*t!

Go to google advanced search and type Elijah Muhammad in combo with freemasonry, masonic, freemason, etc. See what you find.

Sorry about the misunderstanding. The author of the article was trying to prove that the Quran is "from God". I wasn't. And neither was the person who originally brought the article to my attention on another forum. Got it?

You still haven't proven the NOI was Masonic. Let's get FreeMason on this shall we.

I know the NOI was foul. It contradicting true Islam and it pissed off true practicing Muslims around the world. The NOI taught racism and supremacy.. The Qur'an condemns both.

Elijah Muhammad and Farrahkan may have been Masons, but I strongly doubt it.

Malcolm X without a doubt was NOT a Mason.

He loved his people too much.

Did you read every word that I posted? Why would Elijah Muhammad be connecting the "truth" about the white and non-white man through the Shriner Masons in the N.O.I. degrees; if he didn't have any heavy knowledge or affiliation with them?

Like I said; search google or read Elijah Muhammad's book about FreeMasonry. When we were debating this before; I gave a link to a black man who has studied with Masons, N.O.I. and N.G.E. among other things; who personally backed up what I said. Here it is again:

You don't seem to get it.

The NOI contradicted true Islam. Everything they taught was against the laws of the Qur'an. They taught racism and black supremacy.

The NOI was indeed needed for the black man in America but it led many blacks to darkness, like Malcolm X said.

I know THEM and Malcolm knew a lot about Freemasonry. Malcolm even had debates with one while he was in prison.

Malcolm left NOI and embraced true Islam meaning he was not a Freemason.

I could care less what THEM and Louis X were. I don't have respect for both of them and it's my own belief that Louis plotted Malcolm's death.

As I have learned, God is in everything. He isn't everything, but he is in everyone and everything, for God is Love. As Tomas puts it in his gospel "lift up a stone and you'll find him, split a piece of wood, and there he is" (or something like that). Jesus also teaches us that where two people are gathered in his Name, Jesus walks among them, hence the statement "whatever two of you ask from God in my name, you will be granted". To ask for something in the name of Jesus means to ask God for something in rightiousness. If what we wish for is good and rightious, God will grant it to us.

God's word to the morningstars as witnessed by king David:
"You are all gods, but like mere men you shall die"

And Jesus' promice to us:
"Many of the first shall be the last, and the last shall be the first".
