The FDA has asked that Bextra be pulled from the market claiming it's overall risk versus benefit profile for the drug is unfavorable.

The FDA cited inadequate information on possible heart risks from long-term use of the drug as well as "life-threatening" skin reactions, including deaths.

For some reason, I can't help but wonder......

would it have been taken off the market if it wasn't pointed out to us the strong connection between the members of the commission that investigated these drugs and the makers of them?
