the weapon on the humvee as well as other vehicles like the tank will be able to prevent soldiers from having to stick their heads out exposing themselves from shrapnel and sniping.

Yeah... I think it will come in very handy in intense firefights.
I saw this the news a while back and I though, man I have to get one on my car, let the police try and pull me over with that on!

With this weapon we might be able to take out snipers in safety! I believe its suppose to have a advanced scope so thats why I think it might be good in taking out snipers.

Some company here in the U.S offers this to civilians (mostly aimed at Israeli buyers, no pun) it pops up from the back of a truck.
