could a F-117 bring down air force one???

in my favorite show, 24, the "bad guy" stole a F-117 and shot down air force one...

in another message board, members were having a debate about why and why not the F-117 could bring down air force one...

i thought we could have a talk about it here...

so, what do you think???

Well, theoretically anything that can fly fast enough can take it down... If they are willing to fly into it.

AF1 has lots of countermeasures, and could likely jam the electronics of the Nighthawk's missiles, but can't do much against a kamikaze tactic. That's of course, assuming that AF1 knows the Nighthawk is coming.....(the jamming)

well...

in the show, they said that the F-117 was stealth...

members on the board said that it wasn't stealth...

is it???

also, the "bad guy" in the F-117 turned his radar on so this would un-stealth him or something...

AF1 also has flares too...

this is a good defense...
