I was watching "mail call" on TV, and they were visiting NORAD. They were getting a tour of the facility, and they were at the blast doors. The TV guy asked the escort if the doors had ever been closed "in anger", to which the escort replied, "on 9/11 we had information of an inbound threat, and we closed the doors for 3 1/2 hours"

I don't recall this info, does anyone else ? If there was a threat to NORAD, how did we deal with it ?

i'm thinking it was part of the entire communications confusion that surrounded 9/11.

there were reports flying around from everywhere.............and NORAD was one of the places that they thought could be targeted.

i think it only went on until they found ALL the missing planes.......when they accounted for all the planes........the last one being the one that crashed in PA then they "stood down" a bit.
